Fire Crust pizza has been open for a while, but I wish I had known about it earlier as the food here is terrific. My husband and I ordered the I'm Meeting and BBQ Chicken Bacon pizzas. The crusts were similar to a new York style pizza. The toppings and sauces were also very good. This pizzeria serves Chocolate Shoppe ice cream. And who can pass up ice cream. We got a scoop of Zoreo and Exhausted Parent ice cream. We are never disappointed by Chocolate Shoppe, and this was no exception....read full review
My experience echoes that of what others experienced, though somewhere inbetween. The restaurant itself is located on a nice space off Lake Cook Rd in a small strip mall that's usually not too busy. The parking is fairly easy here as there is plenty for the amount of customers that this area usually gets and it's conveniently right in front of the restaurant. Nice to see the pizza assembled right in front of you! Good selection and you can pick your own topping combo. They skimp on the fresh basil leaves, but I usually tell them to double it!! They also have salads and delicious gelato. Their wings are decent, but I wouldn't come here just for them. The owner is very friendly.
