I found the food served at this restaurant to be quite delicious. I had braised short ribs and an apple tart for dessert. The meat was well seasoned, tender and full of flavor. The sides complemented the meal. The service was very good. Our waiter was attentive. He overheard us talking about celebrating a friend's birthday the night before and he helped us celebrate the birthday again that day. My apple tart was the perfect finish to the meal.

You should never have to ask three times for water. You should never have to have meals that are medium warm. Nor wait 45 minutes for them to be served. As for their "optional 3% service fee", feel that ship has sailed. Overpriced. A lettuce entertainment

We had a large group and it just took a long time for us to have our order taken. It was over an hour after we had been seated before our food came -not because we didnt know what we wanted - but because it took a long time to take our order. We had young children with us so what ended up being a 2 hour meal was tough. Everyone enjoyed the food though.
Unfortunately, Saranello's drastically changed their menu and got rid of many things we used to love. The service was also very slow and they didn't appear to be understaffed. We may be back, but not for a while.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The bread, calamaris, and chicken limon were amazing. Service was attentive and good. Always a good experience. I was sad that they were out of angel hair pasta. Oh well.

Visited for a weekday late lunch early dinner. Very few other patrons were in the restaurant at that time. We started with the meatballs as an appetizer 3 meatballs (slightly larger than a golf ball) for $13. The portion seemed more like a tapas plate than an appetizer. They were okay. We ordered the chicken limone and short rib ravioli. The chicken limone was good and a nice portion. I was surprised it wasn't served with a small side pasta e.g angel hair. That's fine though. The short rib ravioli had a lot of filling, the flavors were muted and one note. The presentation and portion were nothing special. (see pic)Service: While initially attentive, our server got pulled away by the chatty and distracting hostess to do prep for the dinner service. We waited ten minutes for our check after finishing our meal. The server also had an AirPod in while serving us for the entire meal. While becoming more acceptable, this is unprofessional in a service environment.Atmosphere: While the restaurant has a nice ambiance and décor it was difficult to enjoy. Thehostess was having loud unprofessional conversations with her peers and delivery drivers that carried throughout the restaurant. We were 20' away and could hear every word as if we were a part of the conversation.

We dine at Saranello's as often as we can. We had a wonderful dining experience during our last visit. The host stand was accommodating and welcoming. We were seated on time with our Open Table reservations. The restaurant was cozy and very clean. The food we ordered was very good and prepared as ordered. Our server Mike B was very friendly, accommodating and professional. The only negative comment is the new menu with reduced selections. Unfortunately with reduced offerings it makes it difficult to keep frequent and loyal customers happy and returning. Chicken Vesuvio a staple in almost every Italian restaurant in the world. Unfortunately it is no longer available along with Pizza and other items.
We felt rushed. We were eating our salad when our main course arrived - way too early. Our alert server noticed and took it back to put under the warming lights. When we were ready for our main entree it was lukewarm warm. Disappointing.

They add 3% to your check for some sort of Saranellos's-invented add-on. No kidding. We've been there a couple times and it was on our check each meal. Pretty crooked. They removed the charge at my request. The chopped salad was a B+. The gluten-free buttered noodles were a c+; they looked like they had been under a heat lamp for an hour and were drowning is a buttery slurry. Salmon was pretty good.

It has been years since we dined here, and we won't wait long for our next visit. The dining room provides an old school, classy atmosphere that added to the evening. After cocktails, we shared a small chopped salad, which was more than enough for two, and wonderful! My wife had orchiette with sausage and broccoli in a light sauce; it was great! My entree was the lasagna, which was perfect in every way! Just like my mother used to make!! Wines were moderately pricey, but overall prices were much better than most other establishments. Last but not least, the service provided by Andrew was terrific. He was covering a lot of tables but never forgot us! A truly wonderful dinner!

We decided to stop in for a quick Valentines Lunch. The speed lunches are such a good deal! Our server was timely and great. She was attentive but gave us time.The Alfredo was very rich. I’m sure it’s supposed to be that way, but I couldn’t finish it. The pasta was so good though. Chewy and wonderful bite.My husbands giardiniera chicken sandwich was missing the giardiniera but fresh and good. The French fries were delicious! So hot and crispy. My favorite kind of French fry.Our server was nice enough to oblige my request for the crème brûlée. That disappeared in 2 seconds. YUM!Overall, I’d be back for the lunch. The salad was also fresh and good. I’d ask for the vinaigrette on the side next time, but otherwise good salad!Parking: Parking is further away. Tons of signs posted saying only for this specific business, but none for them.
