Place looks nice and an interesting menu of primarily burgers. The crispy brussel sprouts were great. My burger on the other hand was medium well and a bit dry although I had asked for it to be medium rare. Incredible selection of bourbons and beers. They need to improve their HVAC. the room we were in was cold and they even had an electric heater running in the room! As it was only about freezing out, I can't imagine what it's like when the outside temperature hits zero.

First time here. Visiting from GA for Navy graduation. Very friendly service, food was good, I had higher expectations flavor wise, but it was good. I would recommend.

The atmosphere the food the staff all just amazing. Great selection of beers on tap and mixed drinks. The bone marrow was phenomenal along with the deviled eggs. The Spears burger topped it all off, amazing rich flavor all the way through. Would definitely recommend.

The best bar burger I've had in a VERY long time. (Don't tell my cardiologist 😉)
Definitely going back next time I'm up north.

Spears is always a great time. From their special infused cocktails to their excellent food it never disappoints. Love the chopped salad the bison burger and the salmon. Service is excellent.

We very much enjoyed our food and had excellent wait staff, but the people who greeted us at the door seemed less than thrilled, and it was almost like we interrupted them. 

Our burgers were great. My husband had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The amount of soup was ridiculously small. It looked like half of a cup. It tasted good but not enough! Also when I made the reservation I told them we were celebrating a birthday. Last time we did that we received a free cotton candy. They did nothing this time to acknowledge the birthday.

We had really hoped to have a nice hot chocolate after a nippy walk at the Chicago Botanic Garden on a cold morning, but the restaurant didn't have any. Otherwise, food, service and ambiance were really good.

They did not have a table ready for reservation time and offered a high top table instead. The marrow was extremely salty, the seared ahi tuna was not sushi grade, the salad and steak sliders were adequate. The service was adequate.

Food was great! Our waitress was wonderful! They didn't acknowledge my husbands birthday. :(

Im sure some of the menu is decent; chicken wings made me gag.

Server seemed more interested in socializing with her friends that were seated rather than getting me water. Took 30 min to even get an initial glass.

Cool little bourbon barrel decorated burger place. Great bison burger- highly recommended! The fish and chips were okay, according to my husband. Less that what most places would serve at that price point, but we’d definitely come back for the burgers.

I had the chopped salad with salon it's my go to Everyone else had burger or turkey burger everything was delicious especially the fries.

Everything was fine as usual. Our waiter was awesome. Super attentive. Good and drinks came right way even though it was super busy.
