“We tried it for the first time today, after months of meaning to stop in and support local. There was nothing that disappointed!! From the friendly faces, to the amazing food… all fresh, very generous portions, great prices and absolutely delicious ❤️ we will definitely be returning and trying more menu items. We had cheesesteaks and fries, looking forward to fish on a Wednesday soon!!”

“My husband and I live in Granite City and yesterday we made the trip to Manchester, IL (near Roodhouse) to visit my husband's dad's grave. On the way home we stopped here. It was obvious from the second we walked in that it was family-owned type of place. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Our waitress was the owner's daughter, and she couldn't have been sweeter. We split a double cheeseburger, fish and fries. Very good food and service! We definitely plan to go back, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others. :-)”

“About a hr drive for us so we only go for the all you can eat Pork chops dinner and it is very good. Anybody that knows about this place talks about it. Definitely worth it. I put up to 30 min on the wait but I have never waited that long, they are very quick about getting you seated. Reservation recommended if you have a big group.”

Definitely recommend using them for sandwiches, cookies and any other catering needs you may have!!!”

“This is one of the worst restaurants Ive been too. There was 3 tables in the restaurant and nothing was right. It took an hour for 2 burgers and a pasta meal. The waiter brought food to our table that wasn’t ours, touched the food and then delivered it to another table. I know of at least 3x while carrying food the waiter had his thumb on the food. 1/2 our table was done eating before the other part got their food. The soda tasted like cleaner and our cups sat empty most of the visit. The only thing I have nice to say about this restaurant is the waiter himself was nice.”
