We stopped today as they were opening, not knowing that they weren’t open for breakfast. The food was subpar. The two little girls working there were well let me say employed there where about as good as a food. It’s sad to say goodbye to what used to be.
I’ve been going to Burton’s for years while visiting family in the area. The food is old school homemade goodness and affordable! I recently ordered 6 pies for an event. The white, cherry and apple. They were an amazing hit! Nothing but crumbs leftover!! Thanks for becoming a family tradition!!
Only this trashier than this place is the food they serve.

The catfish special on Fridays is a highlight. The staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful, and the service was also good. With reasonable prices, you'll leave full and satisfied. The restaurant has a hometown charm and a gravel parking lot with handicap parking available. The Sunday menu has a great variety of comfort foods like the ham and beans and breaded chicken livers. The sides were delicious as well, with green beans being perfect and mashed potatoes and gravy delicious. The chicken fried steak was good as was their sweet tea.
