I really wanted to like and support this local restaurant. When we arrived at 4:30, owner told us they just seated a party of 14, looking around at just a few tables occupied, we said ok? We did get our drinks and salads timely. It was quite a bit of a wait for our food. My husband ordered his steak med well, I ordered the steak kabobs with shrimp kabobs with a side of mushrooms. I would say mine was finished way before my husband’s and it just sat. His steak was served on a sizzling platter, mine on a regular plate. Both my kabobs were cold. I then realized I didn’t have my mushrooms? They had been placed in front of my husband, served in a plastic dressing cup, maybe 3 mushrooms? My husband never got his drink refilled. The bus boy sat at the bar just chatting with bar tender, maybe he could have helped waitress more? The decor is bad with half burnt out Christmas lights. Right above our head, the drop ceiling tiles were about to collapse from water damage. Very unappealing. I can say if you don’t mind tacky and only want a steak, then this might be for you.

We stumbled on it while out riding and omg what a great place and the food was amazing. I had a pork chop it was so yummy ? definitely would go back !! Oh and the vegetable kabob was so good !!!

The food was amazing. I ordered the surf and turf. It was a ribeye kabob and a shrimp skewer with a salad and baked potato. It was very good! Don’t forget to try the cheesecake for dessert!

I had been looking forward to our evening out and having the prime rib as I had done before because it was absolutely delicious. This evening however the food was so very different from the first time. The prime rib was cooked perfectly but absolutely flavorless. Not seasoned at all. When asked how everything was I did make my experience known. If you don’t want to know please don’t ask. The owner then turned to one of the waitresses and states “I don’t know what kind of seasoning she could be talking about “ Seriously?!! Do you not know how to season the food? 2nd and last time we will be visiting Harbor Lights
