Went here on a work trip and this restaurant is awesome.

Our food was everything from tacos, to steak, to seafood and it was all fabulous.

The waitress was one of the best parts of the night because she took care of us like she was trying to sell us a used Hyundai. I'd come back again just because she was awesome to us.

absolutely HAVE to check out this amazing Mexican place I stumbled upon completely by accident! I was starving and just wandering around when I spotted it. Seriously, the nicest waitress greeted me – she was so friendly and attentive, totally on top of everything.

I went for the nachos with al pastor – OMG, so good! My throat was a bit scratchy, so I asked for some tea, and they totally hooked me up with a HUGE chamomile tea – what a lifesaver! And the food? Let's just say they weren't shy with the guacamole – it was piled high! I couldn't even finish it all, it was THAT much food.

The atmosphere was incredible too! They played this awesome mix of music – Tejano, disco, Mexican, even some new age stuff. It was such a fun, vibrant vibe, and the seating was super comfy. The whole place felt really authentic and cultural.

Trust me, you NEED to try this place! You won't regret it.

Tequila Azteca is a fantastic Mexican restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The bartenders were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about great service. The Spicy Jalapeño Margarita was bold, refreshing, and packed with just the right amount of heat. The Tampiqueña was absolutely delicious—perfectly grilled steak paired with all the traditional sides, bursting with flavor. If you’re in Chicagoland and looking for a memorable Mexican dining experience, Tequila Azteca is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
