Don't be fooled by the appearance! Behind the modest dining area with 3 tables and a narrow counter is hiding an amazing Japanese chef who is not only brilliant in delivering the highest quality of sushi and sashimi, cooking delightful hot dishes but also pays close attention to the presentation of his creations. My sashimi selection was delightful and miso soup very tasty. The nice nod to the classic Japanese cuisine was a delicious assortment of Japanese pickles. My husband loved the incredible dressing of the house salad, the right consistency of the egg rolls, and the freshness of the shrimp tempura roll. He was particularly fond of the rich flavor of his gyoza. Kelly made us feel very welcome at her restaurant. We cannot wait to be back at this hidden gem! Bravo, Akira-San! Save our table

Looooove this sushi. We get it on the weekly and it's been consistently yummy. Not fishy tasting. Fresh! We've also tried their miso soup. All the food is much better than some other sushi spots that are more expensive. Pricing is also what keeps us coming back. It really is quality at a wonderful value. Try it, you'll like it. A peaceful sushi oasis in an unassuming storefront. 5b2f is an example of the greatness possible when restaurant owners really care. We started off with some tempura- crispy and freshly fried, it set the tone for what was to follow. I had the Black Ocean roll. It was huge and the tuna and salmon in the roll were incredibly fresh. Such flavor! This would be my regular sushi spot if only I lived closer!

What a pleasant place to eat. The food was great. It was the vibe of the staff that really got me. I am sure its a family affair. Hard to put into words, but my daughter and I really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

The Naughty poke bowl with marinated salmon was so good! This past time, I ordered online and asked them to omit many ingredients including sugar. They called me back right away to confirm that I really meant NO sugar, because that would exclude more ingredients, sauces, marinade, and Mayo. They made exactly what I wanted (naked salmon, greens, cucumber, and avocado) and packaged the sesame oil and chili oil separately. The bowl was great because their ingredients are so fresh!
