Holy crap. This is such an absolute gem of a dive. The double cheeseburger (with everything) was the best I’ve had in a long while. The chicken strips were phenomenal. And you couldn’t ask for a better feel in such a small space. The walls are plastered with history and homages. 10/10, can’t wait to come back.

This is by far the best gyro around! The owner is dialed in on keeping this establishment not only going but thriving with his wonderful food and atmosphere. Great memories over 40 years of coming here and so nice to see many young customers continuing the Legacy of the iconic Wilmette establishment!

Since the late 70s through the 80’s and a little of the 90’s this has been my weekend go to place. The gyros are the best , the service is tops and it’s just a fun place to be at. Plan on taken my sons and wife soon!! Suggestion- you guys should have an instagram account and load some great pics of your place, food and customers!! Thanks for great memories!

Its hidden gem. Had a chance to try their gyros and fries and cheese burger. Those were awesome filling for the tummy at a very reasonable price. Guy serving food was very friendly too. Worth a try!! Keep rocking chuck wagon team!!
