Convito has been a favorite of mine for years but lately whenever I go, the service is spotty and certainly not on the level a white cloth, high priced, fine dining establishment should be offering. The servers are nice and personable but ignorant of the menu, don't clean off the table after courses and have too many tables inside and outside causing barely any interaction or check backs. I hate having to flag down waiters to get another beverage but that is the state of things at Convito right now.

Good food. Good service. Love seating on the sun porch but the 3 lunch drinking ladies at the next table were soooo LOUD we couldn't talk or hear each other........Not good!

We had a great meal of Calamari, steamed mussels, pasta dish, and a cherry tart. We ate outside on a perfect evening so what's not to like. I highly recommend for casual dining. I thought the wine prices were a little high but that was the only negative.

Our experience was wonderful. Convito is the place that we regularly gather to have a great meal with excellent service. Thankful to have such a place in the neighborhood. The cobb salad and the lentil soup were delicious! Service was attentive; loved our favorite spot on the porch!

We've been dining at Convito for years, and this dinner ranks among the best! Our server, Pedro, was terrific: attentive, responsive, personable. The food was great: my wife had gazpacho and chicken paillard, both of which were terrific. I started with escargots which were excellent and then loved my entree of fettuccine quatro formaggi. This was not the typical Alfredo sauce, but a lighter one with Prosciutto and mushrooms. It was incredible! One of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. We ended the dinner sharing a wonderful carrot cake with butter pecan ice cream. A memorable Labor Day weekend dinner!

Convito is a lovely, delicious place for a drink, a snack, a full meal. The menu offers a lot of variety with staying with favorites. Personally, I can never have enough of their white fish dishes!

First time at this restaurant. Excellent service and dinner on the patio was a good choice. I had French onion soup (a bit salty); beet salad with arugula (lots of arugula, few beets) and pasta arrabbiata. The sauce was fresh and with just a little hint of pepper. The pasta noodles also were fresh (made there?) - A very delicious choice, along with a nice pour of Pinot Noir from their well curated wine selection. Will definitely return with friends and family.
