Food and service is always wonderful and we were not disappointed this time. Our server answered in detail questions on the specials menu and his timing with courses was spot on. The food, as usual, was outstanding with all entrees done perfectly. Can't wait to return!!

Another fantastic dinner at Convito! It was noisier than usual, as we were seated in the back near a very large party. However, we were still able to hear one another speaking, so it wasn't too bad. We were actually an hour early for our reservation, so we were thankful to have been seated. And our server, in whose section we have previously dined, was as amazingly attentive as ever. The food was absolutely delicious! For starters, I had the bean soup (vegetarian base), and my husband had the house salad. For the main course, I had the salmon, served over a bed of spinach and lentils, and my husband had the fusilli pasta, which he loved. I usually order the fusilli, so my husband knew what to expect, and it did not disappoint. For dessert, we had an apple tart and coffee. The tart was the best we have ever tasted! So delicate and buttery, and with fresh tasting apple slices! The coffee is always terrific. I think they use Lavazza. We will definitely be returning, again! Thank you, Convito, for another delicious dinner! We've been dining at Convito since we were first dating, over 30 years ago!

We enjoyed the space, and the food. However, they were playing Halloween music that was candidly, gross. It was offensive and incongruous with the atmosphere. Also, the young “bus boy” kept clearing our plates while we were still chewing. That is not a pleasant experience. Allow us to slow down, and enjoy the meal, and experience .

A Northshore classic. Terrific for lunch or dinner and includes a gluten free menu. Their deli is excellent featuring great pasta salads and yummy desserts, particularly the flour free chocolate cake.

Convito has been a favorite of mine for years but lately whenever I go, the service is spotty and certainly not on the level a white cloth, high priced, fine dining establishment should be offering. The servers are nice and personable but ignorant of the menu, don't clean off the table after courses and have too many tables inside and outside causing barely any interaction or check backs. I hate having to flag down waiters to get another beverage but that is the state of things at Convito right now.

Good food. Good service. Love seating on the sun porch but the 3 lunch drinking ladies at the next table were soooo LOUD we couldn't talk or hear each other........Not good!
We had a great meal of Calamari, steamed mussels, pasta dish, and a cherry tart. We ate outside on a perfect evening so what's not to like. I highly recommend for casual dining. I thought the wine prices were a little high but that was the only negative.

We got to sit in the outside patio on a beautiful evening. The waitstaff was attentive. The menu was simple but varied with pastas, fish or meat. I thought the choices of appetizers were very good.
