A Northshore classic. Terrific for lunch or dinner and includes a gluten free menu. Their deli is excellent featuring great pasta salads and yummy desserts, particularly the flour free chocolate cake.
Convito has been a favorite of mine for years but lately whenever I go, the service is spotty and certainly not on the level a white cloth, high priced, fine dining establishment should be offering. The servers are nice and personable but ignorant of the menu, don't clean off the table after courses and have too many tables inside and outside causing barely any interaction or check backs. I hate having to flag down waiters to get another beverage but that is the state of...
We had a great meal of Calamari, steamed mussels, pasta dish, and a cherry tart. We ate outside on a perfect evening so what's not to like. I highly recommend for casual dining. I thought the wine prices were a little high but that was the only negative.
