A friend who was born and raised in China until his late teens now lives in Wilmette and orders from here unless he has time to go to Chinatown. He says the food is good and authentic, and the owning family are nice people. I found the Kung Bao Delight was especially scrumptious.

My stomach still turns thinking about the food at this place. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken...it was the darkest, fattiest "chicken" I've ever seen - rubber like texture too. I quit after biting into the first piece. I cannot say enough how absolutely disgusting the food was - stay away! I'm seriously getting nauseous just thinking about how gross it was.

We had a superb time at this spot. We enjoyed the excellent atmosphere and the menu. The waiters were super attentive. I’m glad we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

The food is cheap, especially for this area. The man working there, (always smiling and happy,) is super friendly. All around, this is a pretty decent spot in Wilmette if you're looking for some decent Chinese food.

The food was bland. I have had much better food for the same price. I would not order from here again.

Great vibes and very welcoming service. The meals were crisp and yummy. Will clearly recommend this restaurant to others. Fair rates and generous portions. Great work.

Worst food I have ever had. New to the area and back from a late arrival to O'Hare (I'm a New Yorker) and desperate for good Chinese takeout. This food was tasteless, unsanitary (I do not believe what I ate was chicken). At best, this was food that had been sitting out for a while (days) and reheated. The kids mean was soggy and just plain nasty, the chicken and broccoli was honestly horrific (I don't think they'd ever made anything in garlic sauce. I cannot say enough horrifying things about this seedy and scary place. Stay away. I will.

This is our go-to Chinese takeout place. The food is good and they offer half portions which is great for our family. They are also usually pleasant over the phone and when we pick up our food. Tonight our order was okay except that we did not get one of the entrees we ordered--we got an entree with a similar name. I was disappointed as what we ordered whole orders and we were looking forward to sharing leftovers over the next couple of days. I called the restaurant to let them know that our order was wrong. I didn't want to go back but I did want to let them know another customer's order was wrong. The problem is that the woman I spoke with yelled at me and said we got what we ordered. I heard my husband place the order andI know we ordered the right thing. She then transferred me to the man who usually takes the orders . He was more pleasant and wanted to know what we wanted him to do. I was so upset by the way the woman spoke to me. This is the worst customer service I've had in a long time and as a regular customer I don't expect to be treated so rudely. The low star rating is for the rude way she spoke to me, essentially saying I was lying. The food here is good but not exceptional or even special. We have gone here a lot but after tonight I don't plan to return anytime soon. Getting the wrong dish was disappointing but rude customer service is inexcusable.

I went to this restaurant for the first time this week. It's located on Green Bay Road in downtown Wilmette. I have passed it numerous times, only because it's almost hidden among the storefronts in the area. What a find! As there are only two tables in the place, it appears that most of their business is carryout. The dining area is right out of the 1960's, but the kitchen and food prep area are spotless. It's run by a friendly couple and the food was well prepared and delicious! As good as any Cantonese restaurant that I've been to. Try it, you won't be disappointed!! 👍

It was edible.. it wasnt the worst or the best. I will say it taste like the seasoning used was just soy sauce on my food.
