Great restaurant for authentic Neapolitan pizza. They have even imported the wood burning oven from Italy. Extensive wine and beer selection. Great appetizers, salads and pasta, but pizza is expertly made and truly delicious. Highly recommended. Make a reservation, as the restaurant is small and fills up fast.

The dining room was way to noisy! Hard floors and ceiling and all hard furnishings magnify the sounds, making it difficult to carry on conversations.

Parking: Get there early as it will take time to find a parking space, especially on weekend nights.

I got delivery for the first time. Restaurant is about 10 minutes from ny house. Pizza was cold when it arrived. Cheese wasn't fully melted. It was covered in oil that had spilled everywhere in the box. The anchovies were dry, almost like they were canned.

I ordered penne ala vodka, but maybe they gave me marinara. There was no cream in the sauce. It was basically marinara with a lot of parmesan on top. I ordered some veggies to go in the pasta and they were sitting on top. This makes me wonder if they have a bunch of basics ready to go and pile things on top of each other rather than making things fresh. (I know a lot of items are pre-prepped in all restaurants, and that's ok, but this isn't that. This is like they couldn't be bothered to make vodka sauce and made it up on the fly.) It was also sooo salty. I love salty. This was unedibly salty. I could smell how salty it was.

Side potatoes and brussel sprouts were mush.

This place is too expensive to be this bad, especially on a Saturday night. Maybe if things had less salt and were properly cooked they would have been better.

I had to take time away from my daughter’s birthday to share this review because I’m appalled by the food we received. The calamari was incredibly tough, scraping my throat as I tried to swallow it. The pizza was equally disappointing—tough, chewy, and excessively salty. Honestly, this has been the worst pizza and calamari I've ever had to date.

Best pizza and fastest takeout in the area! Some can be on the soggy side with the red sauce but the quality of ingredients makes up for it. Appetizers (arancini, burrata, etc) and pasta (mushroom risotto, gnocchi bolognese) are also very, very good.

Great service and the pizza was awesome. Really fresh and tasty. Crispy brussel sprouts was the best part.

Nice casual Italian restaurant. Food is good and plentiful. Service was good. Moderate prices. My only complaint is the noise level inside. Solid floor and ceiling amplify sound making conversation difficult.

We came here exactly one week after eating at their other location in Northbrook. My wife and I came prepared this time. Or I was duped by my wife. Either or, we got something good.

What I mean is that when we ate at the other location, she got pizza (which was awesome) and I got the Piccata Di Pollo (which was and is the best chicken piccata I've ever had). She decided she wanted to split this with me and we each get a side. So now I get half of the most delicious chicken piccata I've ever had and a side when the last time I had the whole thing? I said we should then also split a pizza and bring the rest home. Deal.

I order first and discuss with the server that we're splitting the most delicious chicken piccata I've ever had and we'll each get a side: arrostito potatoes for me and cavolini for her (I got yummy roasted potatoes and she got brussell sprouts - ick!) Then the other couple ordered a marinara pizza and the penne alla vodka. My wife decided the pizza would be too much if we were als "splitting" a salad. Huh? I got duped. Anyway, long story short (too late), the Piccata Di Pollo in Wilmette is just as good as it is in Northbrook.

The restaurants have a similar set up and the same food. All of it delicious (except for those damn brussell sprouts - ick!)

I used to really like this place and the pizza here. However the last few times the pizza has been so wet and soggy. It tastes good, but the texture of the middle of the pie is wet. I would never order pizza for takeout here as I can’t imagine how soggy it would be at that point, if it’s so soggy fresh out of the oven. Also the last time I came to ask for a table outside, the snotty young hostess briefly looked outside, then looked down her nose and said “we don’t actually have any tables for the rest of the night.” Interesting, considering there were 4 empty tables outside, it was only 7 pm, and they don’t take outdoor reservations. The servers are really great here, but after that last experience I don’t think I’ll be back.
