The Lawn Grill Restaurant Wilmette

There are certain outdoor tables that should probably not be in use. We were seated to the side, it was like we were in an area that should be for cleaning or staff. And it was very buggy. Not at all like the pleasant experience last summer.

Relaxing, good food, Jack was a wonderful waiter! As always, service is abit slow, but manageable!

Go on a nice day & sit outside with a golf course view. Service was great, and wine special was tasty. Only complaint was the fried chicken - bone dry & overly salted - try ordering something else!

The kitchen messed up my girlfriends order Not sure if it was waitress or kitchen Service was not good She never refilled my gf beverage & mgmt knew the sandwich order was not right & did offer to replace it but we had no time They should have taken it off the bill

A very pleasant “go-to” for a meal. Food is very good. Service is friendly but can be spotty depending. Location at Wilmette Golf Course is very nice with large windows overlooking golf course and outside seating. In the winter, the fireplace warms the view. Recommend.

I highly recommend the salmon. Perfectly prepared and I loved the sauce and mix of sides. I would definitely return. The service was great. She took great care with my allergies and was friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful glass wall view of the golf course and a welcoming bar as well. Thank you for a great experience

The food was very good which is why this is so disappointing to write. The setting for this restaurant is quite pretty. Noise volume is high, I think because of the high ceilings. It was a Friday night and lots of people at the bar, but there was not enough ‘help'. We were seated immediately, but 10 minutes to get water, another 15 for our drinks. Our poor waitress was taking care of a million tables...so service was less than. They cleared two plates and then left the other two, until we left. We had to ask for the bill. The womens bathroom was a mess. Wet paper towels everywhere. A big disappointment, because this would have been a nice alternative to downtown Wilmette for dining. I think there needed to be a ‘manager', and additional staff.

Nicely done for a golf course, I don't think they strive to be more than they are. Yet they actually could if they tried.

Nice atmosphere and pretty good food!

Buffet marginal at best. Service team friendly and nice but not super attentive. Paper coffee cups not appropriate for a Sunday holiday brunch. Hoped for a better experience.
