We love Torino! This time, we brought some family from the Seattle area, and they loved it too. We'll definitely be back. The food and service are outstanding.
We were sat 30 minutes past our reservation. Our server continually forgot to bring us things, i.e. second round of drinks, and silverware for one guest that wasn't a chopstick eater. Back end staff kept opening door in kitchen which created a horrible draft for our table. Our server asked for it to be closed and it was, temporarily. Perhaps we caught them on an off night. We as a group really enjoyed our food and ourselves. Just had some speed bumps is all.
Great overall, but main entrees weren't brought to the table at the same time. For the 4 of us, after the first two entrees arrived, it was 7 or 8 minutes until our 2 friends were served. Our food was going cold while we waited for the order to be completed.
Waitress seems a bit out of touch. She watched the Sushi maker make sushi for 10 minutes while we waited to place our order. She just kept her back to everyone she could be serving but instead she waited 10 minutes for someone's order to come up instead of taking orders and servicing others. She also was clueless when I asked how big the Diablo sushi roll was? Did it serve one, two three or four? She said 6 pieces then later came back and said it was around 10 pieces. She was nice but didn't seem sharp.
We each had a bowl of delicious ramen and we can't wait to have it again and again! Best ramen in the north shore for sure. Our server, Angelina, was outstanding. So kind, attentive, and skilled. Top notch spot!
One of the worst dinner experiences after dining here over 10 times plus take out. We sat at 5:15pm and watched the kitchen deliver food to 8 tables and at least 12 to-go orders without receiving our meals. Over an hour and 15 minutes later we had to leave. The kitchen was completely overwhelmed with Ubereats which is unacceptable when the diners in the house have not received their food. We were one of the first guests years ago when Torino first opened and it will be a while if we go back. Fix your kitchen and manage capacity. The food is always delicious but not tonight.
Next stop when I am in town Wilmette, IL.
Forward to 12/7/2024, just met up with your son here at the CAJ gym Japan Wrestling Match.

The food is amazing! My husband and I ordered the pork bao, two different kinds of ramen, and the octopus little appetizer. Everything was delicious. 100% recommended.

Have been coming since opening, and portion gets smaller and smaller… it’s a shame because the taste is actually good. Had it for lunch but hungry by mid afternoon. Please, just add more noodles- it’s inexpensive! Until then, probably won’t return again.
We love this place! I asked Torino to help me with my scavenger-hunt proposal and Carla did an amazing job putting our order together beautifully! My fiancé was thrilled and the food was excellent, as always!

Ordered the Torino ramen but flavor was lacking. A few hours later and the
next day I felt nauseous and feel like I got food poisoned. The pork may not have been cooked as expected. A bit disappointed as I did enjoy the atmosphere and service.

I had a pork bao bun and the Sammy ramen with sweet corn. I do think that the bao bun was missing something like shredded carrots. It needed something more. The ramen was absolutely delicious. I ate my entire bowl. It was that good. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner. I will say that inside, there were a lot of flies. Having worked in the industry, it's really important to have that under control especially if there is raw fish around. I also don't think that management was present in the front of the house. There were employees on their phones and eating in front of customers. I do think that was also distracting. That's why I gave a 4 instead of a 5. But I will definitely be coming back for more ramen.
