Highly recommend Trendy Taco. I got the mango shrimp taco and al pastor- the grilled pineapple was unreal on this one. Was raving about this place to my friends. Came mid day with only a few people so service was fast. They had horchata and lemonade which was delightful. Cash only.

Great food. Freshly prepared. Tacos are slightly higher price point - put they are individual curated! I would give the place 5/5 but they don’t take card. Cash only really is a hassle. I would be totally fine if there was a service charge for using card - but it should be an option in 2025! The did have the most Jarritos flavors I’ve ever seen. Tried 2 fish tacos both good - the mango shrimp tacos were the best :) Would go back just for those

Haven’t been in years. I think they started with street tacos only, so we hadn’t been back. Just went today - now they’ve got quesadillas, burritos, burrito bowls. Very simple, great flavors. Happy to support a local business over Chipotle (I’m anti- cilantro and I think their chicken is too salty).
The chicken was flavorless, but it was decent portion (i got the burrito bowl thats it). No card payment, Only Cash. $13.20

Great little place with really good tacos and a very nice staff. The shrimp tacos were excellent. Cash only, but worth it.

pretty decent food. It's cash only and I wasn't given a receipt but I didn't ask for it and I saw that he shortchanged me two cents which just for the principal of the thing kind of insulted me so I didn't tip (I usually tip 30 to 50%) I'm not sure about the whole tipping thing if you're placing your own order at a register but they did bring the food to us and were very polite. They provided green and red hot sauces for us, EXCELLENT. My girlfriend cooks Hispanic food and is an expert on it and she loved the tacos. I got a beef burrito which was giant and perfectly cylindrical. That was kind of cool! Price was right especially for Wilmette. very happy and will be back likely often unless Kamala wins the election then we'll be cooking at home forever cuz we won't be able to afford it. It's all economics. The prices are very fair at this place. I was kind of looking for a nice little place we could frequent in the area and I think this might be it. They had fresh horchata. I don't like any horchata but my family loved it. huge beef burrito with everything, 3 steak tacos with cilantro, 2 horchatas and a Mexican Coke in the bottle was about $35. I saw they had desserts and many other things but we just wanted to try this place even though we had already eaten. Will change my review when we have other things on the menu.
