BEST CHINESE FOOD IN ILLINOIS
Have only gotten carry out, but well-packaged. Food is fresh, hot ( not spicy) and usually enough for 2 meals! Always steady and the # of shrimp (lg) in the shrimp dinners is a lot! Very good.
Always great food never boring so worth a trip up to Wilmette

Tsing Tao Mandarin Chinese is a neighborhood favorite, serving consistently good, old school Chinese food. Many favorites haven’t changed much, including the steamed potstickers and hot and sour soup. The 5 spice ribs were awesome, and the flank steak in the Mongolian Beef was so tender and thinly sliced. The shrimp toast was fabulous, and the moo shu chicken was excellent. The beef was tender, but look out for the super hot peppers. It is nice to have a pot of hot tea on the table. The restaurant offers classic Chinese dishes in a kitschy atmosphere, with friendly service. It is recommended for those who enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine.
