Nice old school Chinese restaurant. All the classics,but well prepared, minimalist bar. Service is spotty but not bad. Atmosphere is pure kitsch. Recommended if you love old school chinese joints. I do.

Very dry wings. Skin was rubbery. No flavor at all. Lo mein was also very bland. Won't be ordering again.

This was our first time here in many years. We got take out this time. The hot and sour soup was good but not very spicy. The chicken dish again was good but not very spicy. The egg rolls were really bad. Tough and flavorless. The fried rice was ok.

I tried ordering on Sunday night around 6:45 PM for pick up which was still early since they close at 8 PM. When I tried calling no one answered and got a recorded message about the number not being available to try later. Kept on calling every so often no luck, then proceeded to order online, and as soon as I picked an item got a pop up window stating that pick up service was not available to try later. Called back again and their line transferred into a fax line, what gives?? Being that I didn't have any luck via phone or online, proceeded to go into the restaurant just to totally be ignored by their wait staff. So I asked the girl at the front desk that I was waiting for some one to seat me and she right away looked at the clock (it was 7PM) and then with an attitude tells me "to just stand there and someone will get you" like I waited for 5 minutes and after seeing their wait passed by me without even eye contact but rather, totally being ignored I simply left because considering that they had customers they could have still accommodated me or tell me that they're no longer taking orders but not ignore a long time customer that has been coming for years is down right unprofessional! Do NOT go there if they're somewhat busy because you'll get ignored especially an hour early before closing.

Great food. Consistent quality. Always a stop when we are in Wilmette. Love the garlic beef, but everything is good.

I don't know what the other people on this chain are eating, but the two dishes we got were inedible. $44 thrown away. We ordered two dishes, both were terrible. We took 5-6 bites each and threw it in the garbage. We regretted eating any of it for the rest of the night.

We had never visited this restaurant before last night and wow, it was fantastic. Our server, Justin, couldn't have been more gracious or accommodating to our needs, despite having to cover many other customers. My wife asked if he ran track, and yes, he used to be on the team in school. We asked for his chicken recommendation and he clued us in to a wonderful dish called Flower chicken. Tender white meat, simple vegetables and a delightful, light sauce. All the food was fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere was relaxing on a busy Sunday evening and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. We will be back.

Having grown up in Wilmette, this place has been a staple business for as long as I can remember! My dad and I met for dinner, and it's almost exactly what I remember. Old school Chinese, leftover size portions (not for my dad!) and really nice people working. I don't think the place or food will "Wow" anyone, but if you want consistently good, flavorful food and to support a local business, they will not disappoint!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetariansParking: I've never parked more than thirty feet from the door.
