Our local go-to for consistently great food and great mixologists. They execute great cocktail recipes with always attentive service. Sophisticated, yet relaxed, welcoming and never stuffy. Involved, experienced and present ownership who always acknowledges a familiar face.

Darling! We really enjoyed this dog friendly, neighborhood gem. Solid food and drinks. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Our host- Sandra was stellar. Also had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the owner. They have something good going here. Thank you!

We enjoyed dinner at 501 Local last night. The potstickers were perfectly pan-fried, with a savory filling that burst with umami flavors. The crispy chicken sandwich had a delightful crunch, balanced by a tangy sauce. For dessert, the chocolate strawberry cake was rich and decadent. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that made for a cozy dining atmosphere. Even though the noise level was loud, conversation was not hindered by it. Service was slow but attentive. Overall, it was a great meal and experience.

I always have a wonderful time at 501 Local. It’s a solid local dining option. The roasted beet salad and date bread pudding are excellent.

I absolutely loved 501 Local! The location is excellent, offering a great vibe that immediately draws you in. The food was delicious—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The customer service was just as impressive, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure a great experience.

The friendly locals add an even greater charm, making the atmosphere feel welcoming and superb. Whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors, you’ll enjoy your time, though I recommend making a reservation since it gets pretty crowded.

For me, it was love at first sight, and I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend checking it out!

Needed some place for quick lunch walked in and said the bar The countertop is way too high compared to the stools and since they have this ledge on the bottom the stool are too far from the countertop very uncomfortable place to sit.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich It's breaded chicken breast it was so thin you could barely taste it no flavor came with the fries were okay terrible place I just don understand what people see in this place. Terrible

The ambiance is inviting and welcoming. The pot stickers and beef bourguignon were perfect. We were disappointed to find bread service is not complimentary and only a rosemary focaccia is offered vs a French baguette or sourdough. I would not recommend this restaurant for families or kids. We had our 9 year old with us and the menu options are limited and the scene is more for adults as there were a lot of adults enjoying a wine hour type atmosphere.

We enjoyed a great lunch!! Three of us enjoyed a Caesar salad with salmon, a Portabella Sandwich, and Beet Salad. We all loved our choices. Our server checked back periodically to refresh our water and to see if we needed anything, including dessert. Overall, a great restaurant!!

Had a very nice meal, food was delish, service attentive. Noise level was so loud kind of impacted our night. They seated us next to the table with large party was just there for drinks. We had to ask to move. Would go back.

Dining on the patio of 501 Local is an experience every North Shore person should have. The food is great, without being ostentatious (with the exception of the strawberry chocolate cake for dessert). In particular, the beet salad was a very creative, delicious take on an old stand by.

Asked to eat outdoors. It was a lovely evening. Was told fully booked even though most tables not occupied. Was offered table right by door which we took. Many of the better outdoor tables were never occupied while we were there. Had people brushing by us the whole time. Will not go back. They should have considered their actual customers first before the invisible ones.

Monday I went and this place was clearly a mess and understaffed. Food took way too long and service was sub par. I won’t be back

Love the menu. Possible to eat a little lighter here, if one wants. Our server was great. They set up an umbrella for us, as the sun was in our eyes. We ate on the outdoor patio, which is delightful. Ambiance is great - fun, relaxed, not too noisy. Brick wall around the outdoor patio makes for a very inviting space.
