Highly recommend. Coming from Seattle, this meal was something else. Everything tasted amazing — flaming cheese, chicken skewers, pita and dips, lemon soup, mushroom filo wrap, and the chicken gyro. Our server was super nice and helped us pick the right portion sizes so we could try more without over-ordering. The bottle of sauv blanc tied it all together. We'll definitely be back.

It was very difficult to fine since it is in a mall type area & has no store front but we called $ the hostess did her best explaining where they were located! The ambience is cute appreciated the fireplace but it was a million degrees in the restaurant since it was unseasonably warm

Dinner was good. We held our menus while eating apps which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Chairs wobbled the whole time. It was really loud!

I was a bit disappointed. The food was a bit too salty and my husbands dish was overcooked (the octupus was very rubbery). Service was great but the ambience coud be improved.

The food was excellent and our server Anastasia was very attentive. My only complaint is that I was surprised, upon receiving the check, that I was charged so much for a few gluten free pita slices, which I received after asking for gluten free bread (I was allergic to the complimentary bread that was served on the table). Most restaurants wouldn't charge for this.

A bit hard to find but worth it. The dining area and quiet and comfortable. Good menu with plenty of good choices. Some good wine choices.

Food is well prepared and delicious. Well spiced and served hot. The soup is fantastic.

Service is attentive and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu.

Very good. Appetizers were outstanding. My beef skewers were very good but slightly to some.

Lovely restaurant, quiet, comfortable and cozy. Service was excellent and food delicious. There are traditional Greek Mediterranean dishes as well as other food on the menu. My chicken skewers were delicious, very tender and juicy meat with lots of flavor.

the food and staff were great but they insisted on seating folks in the enclosed patio which was cold. not sure why since most of the restaurant was empty and there were 3 other areas they were staffing. would like to return for the food but not sure if we will until the weather is better to ensure we have a more pleasant experience with seating arrangements.

As usual, the food and service was very good. My only complaint is that they removed the whitefish and beet salad from the menu. This restaurant is a good choice if you're looking for a good meal in a friendly environment.

Our table outside on a beautiful night was a perfect setting to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our server was very attentive and worked well with us as we ordered shred appetizers before ordering out main courses. The food was outstanding and unique. Another outstanding experience at AVLI.

We were really looking forward to dinner at Avli in Winnetka, but the experience fell short. The lighting was harsh and uninviting, and the service felt like everyone was being put out — plates were dropped in front of us with grunts. I want to say The Chef was jumped in to help run the food out and he was mad as well . The Greek salad was bland, my burger (beef and lamb mix) was overcooked and dry, way too gamey and even a simple request for ketchup was met with an eye roll. French fries & Ketchup? 🤦🏽Definitely not the comfort food or hospitality I was hoping for. Having been a server.... We were always taught when you approach a table you smile and say hello and pour water. basic.
