I hosted a luncheon with friends that I had not connected with in a few years. We were given a private room which was perfect for us. We didn't need to worry if we were disturbing others. Our waiter was attentive and recommended suggestion for us to consider. Lastly, we were welcomed to stay until we were ready to leave. I will be hosting at Avli in the future.

Always a great spot for good Greek and Mediterranean food. The service was fantastic and super friendly. Quiet night so it was nice to be able to talk. Food was good. It's my favorite saganaki anywhere. Greek salad was good topped with Gyros meat. We'll be back.

A delivery order from Avli was very disappointing. Especially for the price. They advertise a whole sea bass, but instead, i was sent fish that was removed in advance and sent in a plastic container. My 11-year-old son said "its not even fileted. It looks like a toddler pulled the meat off.This is not what I wanted and ordered. The management attempted to correct it. But it doesn't matter. Correctly advertise your food.
I gave this restaurant another try, and it was equally disappointing. Small portions. Hot dog joints have better gyros. At a third of the price. I've there for removed a star from the food rating.

Maybe it was an off night but service was not good. The hostess on Saturday evening did not greet us and looked upset to be there. We overlooked it but our server disappeared for long periods of time. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but service matters.

The semi outdoor room is ok, but not as nice as a truly outdoor space. Unless it's raining of course.
Lovely patio for Al fresco dining. Plenty of choices for all appetites, from spreads and appetizers through salads and entrees. Reasonably priced, including a breadth of wines. Good value for a date night or family dinner.

We have been several times, everything was so delicious even for our family members where Greek is not their first choice. Try the seafood medley, seafood with orzo, the lamb burger and any of the dips such as skordalia! It felt like we were in Greece eating more as they do in the tavernas.

We've had good experiences at Avli, but last night was not good. The host kept us waiting upon arrival while he was on the phone. I understand he was with another customer, but it took him a couple of minutes to even make eye contact with us, and then he frantically called for someone to come and take care of us. It was definitely not a welcome. The service was ok but not great. Appetizers and drinks we're good but came out very slowly. We were seated 90 minutes before we were served our entrees. My husband's seafood medley was very overcooked and my sea bass was dry & tasteless. I may go back for the hummus and the gluten-free pitas, but probably nothing else.

Disappointed. Salmon had an off taste. Chicken kebabs, red sauce was super salty. If there are specific dishes that the customer is not finishing and it's apparent that something isn't right, make a change. We had two salmon dishes that were barely touched because they weren't prepared very well

The food at Avli is consistently delicious and always perfectly prepared. My wife and I popped in for our anniversary and not only did the host send us two glasses of champagne, but almost every staff member wished us a happy anniversary at some point in the evening. That kind of attention to detail really sets Avli apart and will keep me coming back. That, and the unnecessarily good bread. :)
