We had takeout lunch today from Soupicurean Winnetka. Asparagus soup was soooooo delicious and the tuna sandwich was excellent. Can’t wait to return to try another one of their many soups!

This place is great! It's family friendly, our go-to place with friends, very fresh and healthy, the friendliest staff around and the owners are a wonderful couple who work so hard to keep their restaurant at a top level. A great local place for a wide range of menu items. SOUP, SOUP, SOUP! And amazing omelettes. The negative reviews are shocking to me. Don't listen to them. If you want good food, good service and a friendly casual atmosphere, don't walk, run here and enjoy!!!

Cafe Bon Giorno is a jewel of a restaurant, that offers ample seating, an excellent menu, delicious food and pleasant, prompt service. While I have only had breakfast there , I would definitely return for lunch or dinner if I was in the area. The only reason I did not give Buon Giorno 5 stars is because nearby parking is somewhat limited. My rating would be 4.5.

Food looked fine. Interior had a cool aesthetic. Service was ok but our server struggled with english. Didn't end up ordering anything because they charge $4.50 just to split an item between two people. Their food is already expensive, and yet the server told us he would charge us the full "sharing fee" if he saw us eating off of the same plate. Didn't feel like being watched and policed while dining. Save your time and money and just go to the Greenbay Cafe on the other side of the street. Trust me.
Great locally owned, home cooking to a gourmet standard. Run by an incredibly nice family, with long term employed staff.

A good breakfast spot with staff who care about their patrons. I tacked a star for the restaurant being cash only, and some of the prices don't feel fair. Overall I enjoyed this restaurant for breakfast, just bring cash!

Delicious food, great spot for kids. HUGE menu
