The bartender/waiter was nice. That was only positive. For two burgers and a side of curds, it was $65. That's more than I paid at Au Cheval. At least at AC, I got a real good burger. Here, it was okay. The curds were gooey. Taught me a lesson to not assume a burger price will be reasonable

The ribeye cheesesteak was one of my favorite sandwiches I’ve ever had. Tons of shaved steak and whatever bread they used was absolutely perfect. I’m not exaggerating, we will be back for that again. The smoked trout dip also exceeded expectations and was a generous portion. Chicken Caesar wrap was very solid but not life changing like the cheesesteak, when we’re back we’ll probably give the burger a try. Great outdoor patio and inside was nice too, lots of decorations for the fam to enjoy for Halloween. Friendly people, we will definitely be coming back whenever in/passing by town.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fred’s Garage – Winnetka We had a nice dinner at Fred’s Garage — the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the service was great. We tried the cheesesteak, beet salad with poke tuna, and chicken wrap. The poke salad wasn’t quite what I expected, but overall the food was good. The cheesesteak was definitely the highlight — juicy, cheesy, and satisfying. A great casual spot for dinner in Winnetka!

We had a great time. The place was packed. It was noisy and super casual on a beautiful summer weekend. There was a waiting line from 5pm until we left at 6:30. The food was good and the service was exceptional. Thank you.

We'll be back! This was one of the best overall dining experiences we've had all year, and our family of 4 eats out at least once a week. Chris, our server, was attentive and entertaining, All four of us LOVED our food, which is very uncommon. The house burger and ribeye cheese steak are highly recommended (coming from someone who lived in Philly for a year). Plus, the decor was fun when we visited 2 weeks before Halloween.
