The ice cream here is fine but the milkshakes are just awful. They use so much milk they end up with just a sugary juice by the time you check out. Just an awful ratio where they won’t want to make another and it’s not worth it. Go somewhere cheaper, not worth it!

Their new Lemon Meringue Pie is my favorite flavor, probably my favorite ice cream ever in my life. I love lemon desserts but my husband who doesn’t also really liked it. It had a perfect balance of tart and sweet.
As for Graeter’s in general, they are one of the few ice cream shops that are truly worth the price. The quality far surpasses other very highly rated and talked about ice cream shops in the northshore and city that I’ve gone to and thought the ice cream’s fine, but tastes like something I could easily get at a grocery store. Graeter’s has just a rich flavor and texture and they don’t skimp out on the extra bits or mix-ins in the flavors.
Also they have a lot of flavors and are elevated, unique, and appealing for adults, not just kids. I love that.
I highly recommend Graeter’s!

This place has the best ice cream I have ever had in my life, hands down. Every time I go to Graeter's I'm blown away by the quality of the ice cream. The ice-cream is made in a traditional small batch process, that makes it quite dense and rich.If that wasn't enough, the staff at the Winnetka location are some of the most friendly people I've ever met. They are highly knowledgeable about the wide range of ice creams they offer, and go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a bespoke experience. Whether you're a local or visiting the neighborhood, I highly recommend visiting Graeter's!My favorites are their signature Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (which has a generous amount of chocolate chips!) and the Buckeye Blitz chocolate brownie sunday.
The employees were incredibly rude and making fun of my friends and I in front of us. We will NOT be coming back here again.

We came in with family as home alone fans. As I'm sure you get alot. The worker was obviously annoyed and told us he wished people would disassociate this place from home alone. As a business, feels like you should capitalize on the fact that you are in this location and be supportive of fun tourists. He was rude and unwelcoming. Prob a good desert place but won't be back.
