Good food, especially for carry out. We followed little lans from Wilmette to Winnetka, over 20 years. The service had occasionally been spotty , but in the last several years it has become reliable again. The dining room is also quite pleasant.Hot & Sour Soup is excellent as is the hot pork and green beans.

Little Lan's is a little gem in the area. Their food is consistently good and the kitchen has been able to make accommodations upon request. Their staff is friendly and remembers customers' names and their regular, go-to order, if they have one, after only a few visits. Little Lan's really has a friendly, homey neighborhood restaurant kind of vibe. They have been around for 1992 for a reason – or rather, many good reasons.I have had their Potstickers, Mongolian Beef, Stir-fried Pork with Vegetables, and Shrimp with Asparagus and Peapod, and am looking forward to exploring other dishes on their menu. My friend especially likes their Hot and Sour Soup. I have zero complaints and highly recommend Little Lan's if you are in the area and looking for good Chinese food.

We had a fantastic dinner on Friday night. We feasted on potstickers, shrimp toast, pork fried rice, a ginger garlic steak dish, spicy garlic green beans and sesame noodles. It was our first time in the restaurant so we wanted to try a bit of everything. Every single dish was fantastic. We also shared a pot of hot jasmine tea. We are full and happy and apparently I was forgetful in my bliss. I actually forgot my purse in the restaurant that had my license, credit cards and much more cash than I normally carry. Little Lans tracked down my name and cell phone number and called me that they had my bag. I was blown away by their honesty. The food alone would have sealed the deal because we enjoyed so much but their thoughtfulness was next level. Little Lans now has a loyal customer and I highly recommend.

First time tonight at Little Lan's and it was great! We ordered the Sesame Chicken and the Pad Thai and both of the dishes were delicious. We will definitely be back!

I love this restaurant, it has the freshest Chinese food you have ever tried, hands down nobody has fresher food and ther fried rice is probably the best in the country. I love shrimp fried rice I have it with every meal sometimes I order it large and make it a meal, I am grateful for Little Lan's.

Their prices are misleading on the website. Make sure to double check the price. Got charged 25% more than what's on the actual website. The employee/owner had a hard time admiting he was wrong and that the website needed to be updated .

Their noodles are 100% SPAGHETTI boiled in baking soda. The texture is off and it’s obvious they are using this new cheap “hack” to save costs. They were also very sketchy and tried to sneak in an extra order of rice when my husband specifically asked them not to. They didn’t give us our receipt so we had to ask for it to see why the cost seemed so high and get them to fix it. Also, there is no saving ordering directly from them or off Uber Eats so don’t bother. The inside of the restaurant was also quite dirty and the floor was sticky.Okay for UberEats in a pinch, but avoid their noodles and be wary of their dishonest practices.

Wow this was bad. Just received a delivery order and am so disappointed. The fried rice is a mushy mess of soft rice, boiled pork, and way too much egg added in. The whole texture is like scrambled eggs, not sure what was fried. The pan noodle is more boiled pork and spaghetti noodles. I am assuming the orange chicken sauce was made from orange juice, it was thin and acidic. Crab Rangoon was fried a few times too many but the filling was decent. And the Szechuan beef was decent but salty. Overall, a waste of $90, and I'm not happy to leave such a bad review for a local business, but this was exceptionally terrible.

I’m sad to post about a local restaurant but the food was terrible. I’ve never had Chinese food with so little flavor. We ordered 4 dishes and 3 (moo shoo, egg fu young, miso soup) were not good, flavorless. The pork dumplings my daughter said were good. I didn’t even save left overs as the food was that bad. $50+ dollars down the drain.

We love their food!! Especially the Family Tofu & all the fried rice varieties they offer. Seems always fresh...nice quiet location. I know they can get busy with deliveries bc they get so many orders but if you pick up, should be pretty quick.

Don't order from!! Ordered for delivery at 5:30p and they promised delivery No later than 6:45. As it had not been delivered yet, I called, again. They hadn't even finished cooking! Needless to say, we went out to another restaurant. (We cancelled the order after 1.75 hours.)
