This Peet's is usually quite busy as it is situated squarely in the middle of downtown Evanston. I would say the most outstanding feature of this Peet's is the service. Everyone is uniformly friendly, prompt, and helpful. Lots of smiles. Seats may be hard to find as Northwestern students usually plant themselves in their tables and stay there for a good part of the day. It's better when the patio in front of the store opens in Spring. The drip coffee is fine with half-priced refills, and there are an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, pastries , and muffins. Make sure you talk to the server about enrolling in the rewards program which is quite good.

I like to have meetings here. The staff are always helpful and the place is clean and bright. If I had any wish it would be for a slightly bigger space and better tables. They are either too small or too big. It's an awkward space but works fine if it isn't too crowded.

Great place to grab a cub of coffee if you happen to be in Winnetka. Clean, well light, friendly staff. Would visit again given the chance.Parking: No directly attached parking. Only street parking which can be hit or miss.

I tried the Bacardi cold brew today and it's fantastic! Black tie -- cold brew with sweetened cold milk?! They know what they're doing :) definitely recommend this one. The maple roll is so much yummier than the chai, in my opinion. Be sure to try both!

Great service from the young man behind the counter this morning. He gave me samples and answered my questions about the various types of coffee available. So enthusiastic and friendly! Wish I'd gotten his name. Anyway, the coffee was good too and so was the atmosphere. Hadn't been here in a while but I'll be back!

Decided to check out downtown Winnetka one morning and needed a cup of coffee to help myself wake up. I was pleased to find a Pete's here since there's so few around. This was definitely a happening spot on a Thursday morning with many folks on their laptops getting work done. I decided to try to the Havana cappuccino and that was delicious. I can imagine it tasting incredible especially when paired with a nice cigar. One of the best surprises was finding out that the coffee shop was actually attached to a bookstore. The n*** in me just loved it! Definitely will come back maybe for some coworking or just to explore the bookstore with a nice cup of coffee.

My g/f enjoyed her coffee and quick service, cool place inside as well. I had an OJ and we split some pumpkin bread and I must say it was average at best. The layout inside is very inviting, looking forward to our next visit next month as we're there every last Sunday of the month for the FuelFed cars and coffee!

Had terrible service as I was already running late for work, the barista a short female with dark hair seemed rude and didn't even apologize for the the unnecessary long wait for my coffee. Won't be returning back

The BEST coffee! The Havana is AMAZING! Can’t find a drink like that anywhere else. Delicious pastries as well. My favorite coffee spot.
