Pomeroy is a cozy spot for French food lovers, but it’s on the pricey side. I visited with a friend; she ordered a salad with beef, and I had a salad and two glasses of wine. She had one glass. In the end, we each paid $80. It’s a bit surprising how fast the cost adds up. So, while the food and place are nice, be prepared for the price.

Been here almost a dozen times and usually solid. But the last time had poor service, and the food missed the mark. I’m a fan of Ballyhoo but it’s not trending well.

One of our favorite places to have brunch. Whether for a weekend out or taking out friends for special occasions. Recently had our anniversary brunch there and was taken care of as always by the amazing staff. Had flowers delivered ahead of time. They ensured they were received and placed on our table before arrival for a nice surprise for the Mrs. It’s always a pleasure to visit. Can’t wait for the weather to warm up to be back on the rear patio, definitely transports you to another location.Parking: There is free parking on the street or in the little plaza across the street. If not mistaken they have valet at certain times.

Highlights: the Mussels, the fries, the atmosphere, the kings apple!Could have been better: no bread service ($5 charge for one so so piece of bread.. no bread with an order of mussels even!) waiter was so touch and go we could barely get him to stop for us to order our meal, lobster roll (was expecting a big piece of lobster.. it was small being from the east coast, you can get a better/less $$ one there)

Love a good French brasserie and wild that one of the best is so far outside Chicago. Nailed all the classics and an awesome spot to stop in for cocktails. They even roll with kids well which isn’t always a given surprisingly on the Northshore.
The only reason this is less than five stars is the value. It is definitely on the pricey side for relatively low frills French brasserie. That said, they execute this style nearly to perfection. Steak frites were excellent, a perfect large but not excessive portion, very tender strip with some of the crispiest fries I've had in a while. Wife enjoyed the sea bass (maybe a touch too much buerre blanc though).Suggestion: when folks are already spending $150-$200 for two, the bread could be free rather than adding another $5 for a third of an (excellent) baguette.

Took my wife here tonight for her birthday. Beyond excellent. Food was very delicious and our waiter Marcos was very attentive and had a good sense of humor. The GM TJ stoped by our table to make sure everything was great. This restaurant is better than Froggys. I’ll definitely be back.

Good food, friendly staff, and vibrant but not too loud to have a conversation! Baguette is a must order. Tuna tartar was fantastic. Mussels were also a big hit. The server was attentive and food came out at a good pace. Highly recommend!

Fantastic dinner as usual! Our second time here and each time has been outstanding.Duck tartine, escargot, sea bass, and roasted chicken were on the menu for us. All fantastic. Duck tartine was my favorite on this night.Waiter Jordan was kind, attentive, and even started our anniversary dinner out with a glass of champagne.Only issue was how closely we were seated to the couple next to us. One of the guests next to us was reading every menu item out loud and giving her thoughts on each item, but made for a weird ten minutes.
