We loved going there for Lunch on Friday for the fish fry. I never carry cash and swiped my card for me and three to five others. Used to go in with my wife in evenings on Friday and treat her to a few pops and the fish fry. I am a north woods lover and have been in a few taps up there over the course of my life. Tomcszaks reminded me of that. Like I escaped to the north woods. Loved this place until they took the food off and the credit card machine away. Should have charged a fee for card use and Im sure everyone would have paid, except for the cheapies that throw nickles around like sewer covers. If they didn't ever come back no loss. Can't go back. Good luck sellin the place. Going to miss you! Ambiance was northwoods tavern at its finest!

zVery good. Did take out only but thats O K. The food is phone fantastic. My favorite place to go. That lady makes all the fish just perfect. Everybody I take there, they keep going back. When the dinning room is open its standing room only to wait for a table. Thank you Tomzak's.

Tried the perch and cod fish fry. I order fish fry alot when I travel and tomczacks was the best that I ever tried . Everything was fantastic! The service was great and everyone in the place was super friendly. Can't wait to go back.

A terrific fish fry on Fridays but be forewarned: they get PACKED at the dinner hour and this place is small. One can avoid this if you go at the lunch hour, or anytime before dinner. Very friendly staff; one feels welcome right away. The fish is very good! Thursdays they feature burgers which are very good as well. Saturdays they offer a steak sandwich.Don't be put off by the outside: it kinda looks like a garage and admittedly it is small inside but the food is satisfying, the staff friendly, the patrons will remind you of beloved uncles and trusted neighbors.Highly recommended!!
