“Went here for lunch. Friendly staff, there was a bit of a wait, but we were seated quickly. Even for being busy, our server was attentive. I can't say I was impressed with the taste of the food. Big portion sizes, though. My chicken sandwich was just sloppy, dry dispite hot sauce, and the breading was thin and not very tasteful. I've seen great breakfast reviews though, so maybe I just got the wrong thing.“
“Great place to grab a full country breakfast. Waitress was quick and efficient. My coffee mug was refreshed every 5 minutes with minimal interruption to my meal. Ambiance is a country diner. Food is not photo food... it's filling. The kind of place you grab breakfast before dawn because you don't plan on eating again until the sun goes down.“
“This place was packed on a Sunday morning with good reason. Great portions of delicious food. What really made me want to post my review of this place is how they have people designated to refill your drinks. Our glasses were never empty. This remarkable concept is truly awesome, and I will drive over an hour one way to experience the phenomenal service we received this morning again.“
“We both had horseshoes which were delicious. The burgers tasted like ground sirloin. The waitress said 2 sides. I asked what the sides were and I chose salad. She immediately took my friend's order and did not give the opportunity for me to choose my second side. She brought out or entrees and check and never returned. My friend needed a refill on her drink. She put her glass at the edge of the table however, pur waitress never came back. She walked past us a couple of times but never even looked at us. We had to request to go boxes from another employee. Terrible customer service from our waitress. Good thing the food was good because customer service was the worst.“
“Excellent all around. No matter how busy they sit you rather quickly. The waitresses are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to see you.Their breakfast is second to none. It is served within minutes of ordering. Everything is perfectly cooked and generous portions. Trust me, check this place out and see for yourself why I say this is clearly the best family restaurant in the area.“
“Traveling through on our way home from St Louis and stumbled across this as a possible dining choice. SO HAPPY WE STOPPED HERE!! The meals were generous portions for a reasonable price. The children's menu was perfect for the kids, and the regular menu had fantastic Midwestern choices. Be sure to save room for some of the decadent desserts!!“
“The food was served quite hot. The soups was quite good like homemade not can soup. The service was super. Our server was quite attentive and quite helpful. It is quaint lil dent feeling that has been in service for over 20 years. Do check out this little gem Will b going back.“
