I have been to Morimotos the Iron Chef in Philadelphia many times . Chef Soon is as good as Morimotos. It is the only place in Chicago where I will eat sushi!
Fresh, and beautifully curated Sushi. Showed up without reservations during a busy time so there was quite a bit of waiting for our food. I recommend you make a reservation.

Always on the hunt for good sushi in the western suburbs of Chicago. And I had high hopes for this place at the recommendation of a friend. It was disappointing. I expect to pay up for good sushi and you'll most assuredly pay up here, but the sushi is just ordinary...not bad but not great. Definitely not worth the money. I'll stick with IKKAI in downtown Naperville and others and continue my hunt for additional places to add to the rotation. No return for me.
