A lot better than expected. It looked like a crap shack but the food didn't taste like crap thankfully. New Chinese Kitchen is among the cheaper eating options in Woodridge. Even though it's cheap, the portions are big. The food is much better tasting than a typical Chinese restaurant in a strip mall and they have more than the usual all too common items. I have been coming here for 23 years that I rememberand have enjoyed it much there. And I was very disappointed tonight as did not receive chicken Chop suey I ordered. They should have mentioned to me they were out of the vegetables/suey before I ordered so I would have been happy at home for my meal rather than giving me something else. Chicken with just celery is not the same thing as chop suey.
