Nice family place! We are new to the area and decided to stop in for dessert. They had fresh peach pie out of the oven and peach cobbler. We also had a watermelon basil drink. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back!
The service was decent. I had the country fried steak, scrambled eggs and the zucchini bread. Sadly, the country fried steak wasn't cooked fully. It was raw in the center and the taste of flour was strong. When mentioned to the waitress, she offered something else. I got more eggs, and those were soggy. No discount offered.
Well, it had been a long while since the last time I had eatten at Isabels. The quality of food is still ok. But, I had ordered the loaded french fries which arrived with a single slice of cheese and what can only be discribed as a minimal slice of that super thin bacon. So disappointing that I will not go back there.
