Best place for sit down food in McHenry County.
Cannot say better things about this fine establishment. I have known Mason since our days of working at Rosatis in high school. He’s always dreamt of running his own restaurant and let me tell you he knocks it out of the park. Food was mouth watering and the service is exceptional! Really feels like you matter as a customer!

Oak & Alchemy has quickly become a standout restaurant. The food is superb, with strong, pungent flavors and good size portions served in a pleasing manner. Guests never walk out hungry and are always satisfied with their meal. The Mac and cheese is to die for, and the Mac bowl with chicken is amazing. Other highlights include pizza, ribs, brisket fries, pretzels, and homemade ice cream. The drinks are great and crafted with care, with the orange creamsicle cocktail and espresso martini highly recommended. The service is exceptional, attentive, and friendly, making customers feel like they matter. The atmosphere is top notch, elevated, and comfortable, with live piano music. The owners go around talking to customers to ensure everyone is having a pleasant experience. While things can get slow when busy, the overall experience is phenomenal. This was exactly what Woodstock needed, and it comes highly recommended.
