I recently ordered sides for my Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people. The person over the phone took my order and said this was okay for 10 people.When I went to pick up my items I was told that they do not make anything less than 10 people but for 25. I was stuck paying for food for more people than I asked for. Be careful how you order it is under new ownership. With new staff they do not have all the information. Not happy. Good food though.

It was fantastic. Prices where really good. The food was delicious. The servers helped with everything and where great. We also had a bartender through them and she was outstanding. I'm glad we went with catering by Diane.

The food was delicious and they did an outstanding job setting up and cleaning up. The server was extremely helpful making sure there was enough food out there and refilling the trays when needed. They were very accommodating and offered useful suggestions on quantities and specific food items. I would highly recommend them.

OK, where do I begin?? THIS CATERER IS FANTASTIC!! Absolutely knocked our event out of the ballpark! I'm an office manger and I have to host a few events a year for my company, the biggest of which is our Christmas luncheon for 70 or 80 people. I had a great company I've worked with for 14 years and then their owner retired and closed his company. The people that bought him out PROMISED me they had all the recipes and that everything would be the same or better! IT WAS HORRIBLE! So I spent the last year researching and trying to find a caterer that could compare to what we were use to and redeem myself with my work associates. Catering By Diane was BETTER than our original caterer in every way. They showed up early, the food was piping HOT, and most importantly, EVERY DISH in this spread was absolutely amazing and my entire office was raving about how good everything was. They now have all our business moving forward! Can't thank them enough!

We picked Catering by Diane for the second time- the first being a large wedding - this time a much smaller baby shower for the same couple on their exact anniversary! We ordered the exact same meal for the shower guests & everyone loved the trip down memory lane! Shelley is super responsive & helpful with feedback & just wonderful to work with. Tim delivered our food & hauled it all the way up to the roof where we had the party- I wasn’t expecting that at all he went above and beyond. Above all else, this catering is the most affordable best value I have ever encountered in Chicago & I plan events & have seen them all. The food is absolutely delicious & a better value than Chinese takeout! I wish we took more photos of the food, but this fruit plate was beautiful. Thank you so much once again! See you at our next party!

All of my guest enjoyed the food. The stuffing was delicious! Everyone asked about the caterer. I was sad that I didn't have any leftovers even after ordering more then what I needed. The prices were very reasonable and best out there. I can't wait to try the rest of your menu.

Used this catering company for the first time for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The customer service on the phone was great. The prices of the packages was reasonable. The food was delivered on time and nice and hot. Everything was delicious! And we had more than enough of everything, with plenty of leftovers. In the event I would ever need to cater a party again, I will be calling Catering by Diane. I highly recommend them.
