Brought my kid here not too long ago and this place is ssa. I ordered 2 burgers and onion rings and I've had better food at the gas station. Yeah right voted best burger. Somebody lied to you. You either made my food bad on purpose, didn't like my kind in your establishment or maybe both. Either way, I'm good. I'd rather go to Culvers down the street.

Went here with a friend and had Annie as our server. She was very knowledgeable regarding the menu items and made sure we had all we needed. Will have to come back again!

Bad food. Bad odors. My friend and I each ordered the nachos with brisket added. The brisket was chunks that looked more like pork belly, the nacho cheese was cold, there was no sour cream, and the tiniest dollop of pale green guacamole. It was disgusting. I was paranoid the entire meal I was going to get food poisoning, so I threw in the towel. Also, when you walk into the restaurant there is a strong odor of being in an auto mechanics shop. I thought how odd...til I learned it was from the motorcycle they have displayed. I understand the sentimental reasons for the motorcycle, but the motorcycle was not properly prepped for indoor display, so its components are breaking down and making the entire restaurant smell like a mechanics shop. Not something a patron typically wants when dining out. All of these things combined, I can see why we were the only customers at 7pm on a Monday.

We have been to Dakotas many times over the last two years because the food had always been wonderful which made it easy to overlook the many other issues. We have always had some issue though-poor service(inattentive wait staff and rude general manager), staff smoking outside the restaurant, wrong tables bill given to us, long wait for food, charged for food items we didn't order, not given happy hour pricing, surcharging to use a credit card. But with the menu changes, new polices, and the poor service-we are done. We decide after last nights visit we have to crossed it off the list of restaurants in Yorkville to eat at which is sad. : (

This place always feels really expensive for the mediocre-to-OK food, and we've been periodically going since it opened. We always hope the food gets better, or the prices get lower, but they never do.

The last time we ate there, the food was actually bad, and was still close to 70 dollars after tip (just 2 drinks, an appetizer and entrée). It did not escape my attention an extra 4 dollar extra had been added without us asking for it on our entrée. How long has *that* been going on, and we only noticed because we checked the itemized list?

Go to Crusade instead. Heck, go to Rowdy's instead. You don't get what you pay for here.

It's been a long time since we had food this good. I had the Jesse James Steak sandwich and my husband had the Montana burger. Both were excellent. We also had the queso which was good and my 6 year old had the kids chicken and waffles.

Kid-friendliness: The kid's menu has enough options for any child; burgers, chicken, mac n cheese, etc.

We stopped in on Monday, Veteran's Day, taking my daughter back to school. We were all excited to try this place however, the service was little to none. It took a couple minutes for the waitress to come over which is fine. She was the only server in the entire place. HOWEVER, when she finally came back and took our order my daughter had to go up to the bar after about 20 minutes of our drinks never coming to ask for them. It was not busy, there was a couple at the bar and another table that was waiting on service as well. I understand being short staffed especially this day in age. But when my daughter asked about the drinks the server stated "the waters you have" and my daughter had to remind her that we ordered drinks and food already. We unfortunately ended up leaving. You can be short staffed and still provide decent service.

The place is super trendy. The place is very clean and well decorated. The way they serve their food is very unique! They served my fiancé’s food on a pizza tray and my salad in a huge bow (i’m sure was a fruit bowl). I LOVE how unique it is! REALLYY REALLY big portions too! Single (small) serving of tots was like a personal pizza pan size … we devoured it after a business event..
only downside was my Brisket for my salad was more of a smoked ham. did not taste that good or near a sliced brisket you would usually get .. Waste because i loved the dressing, and the overall salad. Workers seem to love their jobs and were nice to each other. Good to see

I wanted to try local restaurants so I chose this one. I went off the reviews I got a brisket grilled cheese. The brisket didn’t have any flavor the sandwich wasn’t anything like a grilled cheese & the sandwhich was dry I had to add my own bbq sauce. I also got the buffalo shrimp which lacked flavor and the shrimp was over cooked it was hard to bite it. The margarita probably was the best thing I had there aside from fries which were $6 this restaurant is overpriced and lacks flavor & I sadly won’t be returning.

A wonderful meal with a wonderful friend. We had guacamole, queso cheese dip, and elote dip with chips. Chips were perfect and so was the dips. Thanks. It was my first time there and we'll be back. Waitress was awesome too!

Came here for breakfast during breakfast time just to be told upon arrival they aren’t serving breakfast. The lunch menu had very few options to pick with nothing really appealing on it. The waiter had an I don’t care attitude and wasn’t very infomative. Overall I didn’t enjoy my time here.

Stopped by while traveling through the area. It’s only 3 blocks from Hwy 47. I had the Brisket & cheese sandwich which is large enough to feed two or eat the other half later. I opted for the waffle fries rather than the kettle chips. The Brisket was very tender and piled high on the sandwich. They do have outdoor seating but decided to eat inside.
