I have tried to give this restaurant several chances to get my food correct. After not ordering from them for a year, I ordered today and spent over $50 and was totally disappointed in the food. I ordered 12 pieces Jack Salmon and received these little nuggets that I did not know until I reached home. My chicken was not cooked hard enough. When I called the worker stated that he would refund me for my order. After five minutes, he called back and said the manager was going to call me to redo my Jack Salmon order as they gave me the wrong item, little nuggets. The manager never called and I wasted over $50. I have definitely learned my lesson with this place and will never patronize again. This restaurant has gotten worse, if that is even possible.

Had a Gyro sandwich and meat was dry but the pita was grilled (nice touch). Tziki sauce was good.Also ordered grilled catfish. It was definitely grilled but needed for flavoring. Will try the fried version next time. Fries were crispy and on point.

Purchased chicken wings and catfish from here today and not only were the wings very tiny, they were black (old) and had a funky smell when I separated the wing and smelled it. The catfish had a weird smell as well. I stopped eating both bc neither smelled or tasted fresh & I started to feel a bit nauseous from the smell. You also have to buy fries and bread separately, for the price that should come with the meal. Needless to say, I wanted to call & get our money back, however, we will just take the loss & not go back again. Sorry, I do not recommend....& would never have taken a risk selling a customer bad food.

I was the last customer at at this restaurant and would have rather they told me they were closed or not cooking anymore for the night. I asked to have the chicken fried hard not reheated in old grease. I have had the chicken before and it was amazing. This was plain disgusting .the fries were even over cooked ( I guess on the old grease also) I called to let them know and was told they could do nothing. I would have preferred a new order or my money back they can have this disgusting food back it was not eaten. I drove 20 minutes to be given garbage. I am very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone!

Stopped in specifically to try the cat fish. They did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly. My son had the 3 piece chicken dinner. It was good. Bit be sure to try the catfish!!!

Ordered crispy chicken got grilled. Ordered boneless wings. Grilled chicken(not what I ordered). Was not good at all. A pounded price of chicken breast with no flavor and super dry. The wings were not breaded. Did not know that. It was horrible. So dry. The bbq was a generic brand so not so good at all. Very disappointed in the whole meal. The fries were not good at all.

This place use to be pretty descent. Over the past few months the quality of the food and customer service has declined. I walked in to find only a cook and a young boy working. He was just basically playing on his phone. No manager or owner in sight. They got my order wrong and then when I got home the food was horrible. Catfish tasted frozen chicken sandwiches were not fried like the pictures my gyro was very dry and onion rings had no flavor. Had to call and leave a message for a manager to call me back when they came in. About 30 min later I got a call from the owner you was not very friendly and basically refused to refund my 60 dollars. He only offered me credit for a few items but as I explained to him I am turned off bu his establishment and do not want to patronize his business anymore. He kept insisting I give them another chance and tells me "no one wants to work anymore " is why he doesn't have a manager on staff, and he has other businesses he can't be everywhere. Then he finally offers me a refund but I can't receive it until next Wednesday when he comes to work. I understand places are short staffed but if you can't staff your restaurant and care about the quality of your food and customer experience then maybe you need to close until you can. And yes I wanted to return the food cause it wasn't edible but I couldn't because again no manager or authority figure there.

My first time here and it will Not be my last. Unassuming dining area and sparse counter are backed up by an enthusiastic person excited to take your order. Behind him is a very wide menu including all of the fried wonders. From catfish to chicken and hot dogs to wraps, it’s the perfect comfort food! I had the catfish which was easily my favorite I have ever eaten. Tender and lightly breaded with such a fresh taste. I also had shrimp which was perfectly cooked and chicken which made me smile. I’ll be back to eat the rest of the menu!

Quality was just not there. We ordered cheese fries and there was just a thin line of cheese on top, with mostly dry fries. Plus I’ve had generic brand frozen fries from the store that are better. The gyros were tossed in with the cheese fries as well so there was more cheese that got smeared on our pitas than on the actual fries. My fiancé and I both got gyros and cheese fries and we BOTH were having stomach issues after eating. Felt like a customer on Kitchen Nightmares. Not worth half the price.

The "grilled cheese panini" is really just a grilled cheese on white sandwich bread, not panini bread, as advertised. The tiny fry that comes with a McDonald's happy meal is bigger than the side of fries they give. Everything i requested to not be on the burger was on the burger. They did surprise me with a kids juice box that I didn't order.
I love there Philly cheese steaks but the cook gives you about 10 fries. Not sure why they are soo stingy. I found a new place to order from that gives you enough.

Prices are high and portions are very small. A half off a tiny cup of cheese was $1.50. And it had chunks of what i assumed was dry or overcooked cheese. I ordered the gyro plate and definitely didn’t have enough meat to fill both pitas. That’s the portion most places give for just sandwich. Extremely disappointed and definitely wont be going back.

Food is great here lots on menu can be confusing and chaotic to new people trying it out but just learned that the manager takes tips and doesnt give them to necessary workers that were meant to receive said tip very disappointing to have heard that.

Really unhappy for the price. We ordered on Uber Eats and spent $80 for 3 meals. Needless to say and you can see in the picture, I had barely any fries, coleslaw was in a tiny container made for ketchup, and all the breading was on the soggy side. I would say decent and that's being generous. I never have spent that much on food and not had any leftovers.

In times like these we need more people just to be nice and genuine. I'm new to the area and already feeling a type of way about the lack of diverse foods (and folks) where we've moved. I was desperately wanting some fried catfish and haven't been able to find it in stores to do my own. I Googled and found Jay's the next town over from where I live. On a lark, my husband and I went there today and I asked some questions, made an order and was waiting on it. While I was waiting the owner brings out a freshly dropped jumbo shrimp for me to try - he said it was the best thing on the menu... and he DID NOT LIE! The shrimp was meaty and briny, fresh and so well seasoned... oh my goodness. But it was his willingness to answer my questions, make honest suggestions, cater to my changes to my order (I eat low carb so I didn't want fries and bread), not up-charge me for the substitutions, give me a free, fresh sample AND throw in an extra coleslaw that has made me a loyal customer for good now! I will be back again and again to get a taste of what reminds me of home. Bright, clean dining room, fresh, well-seasoned, yummy food, friendly, personable owner! I highly recommend Jay's Seafood Grill.
