Decent food, good service, nice outdoor patio. In my opinion a bit over priced for the amount of food.

This place deserves a Michelin star! From the ambiance to the food and the hospitality, Mandrake takes a spot in my top 5 favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend the crab cakes and tuna tartare + the tropical eclair for dessert! Cocktails are nothing short of amazing too - would recommend the spiteful orchard! Super excited to return when their menu changes for the fall!

Had lunch here for the first time. Beautifully decorated dining room. The food was amazing, we had five different small plates to share. Plenty of food to share between the four of us. The timing between the plates was perfect, so we didn't have to rush before the next plate came. The avocado hummus and shrimp toast were my favorites, but all the food was delicious! Drinks, Love and Lust and Bloody Marys (on Sundays) were fabulous as well. Don't forget dessert when you go - Rum Baba and Chocolate Eclaire was a perfect ending! Will be back for sure!!

Went to this place twice and was pretty good. Turned away the third time because they said baby strollers werent allowed inside, despite the fact that we had our stroller inside twice before. It was about to start pouring rain so sitting outside was not an option (it started pouring shortly after). We brought it up that it was not an issue before, but they did not seem to care. Really kind of put us off and will likely not return. Too many other good options downtown Geneva that would allow a stroller inside, even places that have less space than here.

Having been to the previous Yorkville restaurant, we were so thrilled to visit the new location. The building, patio, and dining room are all a feast for the eyes - gorgeous top to bottom. The menu - inventive, beautiful, mouthwatering, and so delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly though at times unable to answer questions about the dishes - but quick to get answers. No harm, no foul. If you have the opportunity, stop in for a drink - the cocktails are creative, sooo delicious. Love it to shreds; can’t wait to go back. Oh, and get the eclair - best dessert we’ve had in AGES.

My wife and I were there this past Friday. We were lucky enough to get a table outside. Our server was great. No issues and very nice. The food was great and was brought out to us fairly quickly. We had the whipped feta, tuna tartare and crab cakes.
The serving size was not too little or too large. To get maximum food I would suggest going with at least four people. We were stuffed after the three items.
I’ve read reviews saying the food was pricey but I disagree. We had three dishes and three total drinks and the bill was 100$. Can’t wait to go again with some friends.

I recently had the opportunity to visit a restaurant in Geneva for a much-anticipated night out with my friends. We were excited to explore a new dining spot that appeared to have a similar vibe to the extraordinary Graceful Ordinary. However, our experience at this restaurant left much to be desired.

First and foremost, the restaurant's policy of charging $150 to hold a reservation seemed excessive for a town like Geneva. We understand the importance of managing reservations, but this fee seemed more fitting for a bustling metropolis like New York City.

Moving on to the food, the dishes were just mediocre at best, lacking the flavor and finesse we had hoped for. I’m not dreaming of returning for any of them. While the drinks offered some solace, it was not enough to compensate for the overall underwhelming dining experience.

One aspect that truly left a sour taste in our mouths was the restaurant's not-so-subtle way of rushing us out at 9pm. The abrupt turning off of the music and the sudden increase in lighting made it clear that we were no longer welcome. This unwelcoming behavior was a major disappointment and left a lasting negative impression.

Lastly, the overall subpar dining experience, felt inadequate in justifying the hefty $300 price tag, overall, it fell short of our expectations and left us unimpressed.

The location is phenomenal and with some changes this establishment has potential. I hope they grow and adapt to the community as it could be a phenomenal addition to 3rd street.

Have lived in Geneva 25 years, support third street every chance we get and always love checking out new restaurants when they open. My daughter and I split LUNCH (1) glass of wine each, we split (1) Tuna Tartare, (1) Italian cheese charcuterie (1) meat Charcuterie and (1) dessert…food was great, waiters were so pleasant, BUT there service was horrible. Had to ask for silverware, had to ask for menu, had to stack dirty dishes and flag waiter down to ask for dirty dishes to be cleared away LONG after we were done eating.
Then the LUNCH bill came $138.00 before tip ? I’ll try again in a few months.

Stunning, sophisticated, elegant, creative, and astounding that this exists in the suburbs. The dishes are impeccable, brought to the table one plate at a time and in perfect timing. The patio just opened as well, and it was nice to hang out there with drinks until our dining room reservation. Can't wait to go back and get the rest of this season's menu!

Parking: Parking is everywhere in downtown Geneva.

There really isn't anything else like this in the suburbs. Coursed shared plates that change every season and served by crazy knowledgeable staff. They're a little bigger than small plates but smaller than entrees, and the perfect size for two people to crush five or six plates. The wine list is out of control, especially the French selections. The atmosphere is intense without being overbearing, kind of dark chic but in a fun way.

This is the way dining should be. Well done, Mandrake!
