Great food and atmosphere.
There was a mistake made with extra charges, admitted, & refunded. This happened again and Denise, became combative with me explaining how difficult it was to make substitutions. When I said I didn’t think it could be that difficult, she continued to debate me on how I didn’t understand because I never have worked at a restaurant. Unknown to her, I worked at a pizza joint when I was 16 and had no sort of trouble making substitutions. No big deal, she told me to send receipt, and she wished I would have brought up before making payment. That all made sense so I told her to let me know what my price should be and I’ll make a note under their phone number. It took a manager 2 weeks to call me back and at that point I just wrote it off. Since I was now told what the prices should be, I asked the manager that called me back to let me know I’d be refunded, what I should do if this scenario came up again. She told me to ask to speak with one of the owners. To next time, I put in the order, was given the incorrect price for the 3rd time in a row, based upon what ownership (Denise) told me, so I cancelled, explained why, and asked to speak with one of the owners. This is exactly what someone who identified herself as the GM told me to do in this scenario.
I never received a call from the owners. So next time I will avoid ordering pizza with substitutions because at this point it wasn’t worth the hassle. I called to order fried chicken and I was told by the receptionist and manager that they were not allowed to take orders from me. They asked if I knew why, I told them I could only assume it was because of these scenarios, but no one ever told me this.
I suppose this is fair game but just seems unprofessional, that they can’t use their words to tell me this. They asked if I would like Denise to call me and explain the situation and I told them yes. I never received any phone call from Denise.
Fast forward a couple of months and I get a call from a stranger, who starts calling me names, berating me, and acting like an aggressive child with nothing else better to do. I explained to this “man” who I later find out is Steven Urness through caller ID (clearly drunk) that he was calling a work line and that he was wasting my time and should find something better to do. Steven Urness explained to me that he was 37 years old and had sold all of his businesses, suggested I do so, so that I could have time to sit at the bars all day. This is all while a girl of who I presume to be an employee of the restaurant, is giggling in the background. A quick google search turns up these were all lies and Steven was using his late father’s business as a way to lie to the girl(s) that work at Mike and Denise’s while trying to impress a stranger. What I find appalling is that an employee of Mike and Dennis’s gave this loser my phone number! This is proven with pictures attached of some immature sketch made by the restaurant and posted up somewhere. Some female employee took a picture of the “do not take orders from Pete” with my phone number, showed it to Steven, and he decided to call me, berating me for no reason other than to start drama.
It is clear from negative reviews that ownership does not attempt to resolve issues with customers. The only negative reviews they reply to are ones they want to combat and argue with- proven in review section.
Denise- I’m still waiting on a phone call and this type of behavior from your establishment is unprofessional and unacceptable. If you want to debate this information, let’s talk like adults over the phone. I will consider taking this review down if you choose to handle this professionally. But so far this is not right and shameful. Do not give my number and personal information out to drunk patrons. I question your business and your morals if you will let this type of behavior slide from your employees.
I stopped in based on a recommendation. I was not impressed with service. I paid my bill before I spoke about service and low quality of food. I mentioned quality to management and they didn’t care, dismissive. Not impressed with this place. Go to Dairy Queen. You’ll have a better experience.
Crab legs were 64.95 a person and not good. Cooked to long.
I’m not sure why my last name is being posted on here under another persons review but I did call, message and am now again in writing, asking that you edit your review to take out the COUTTS last name. We did not curse at anybody. It was not even us at the funeral!
The atmosphere here is amazing. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by wonderful people and great service. Definitely recommending to others.
Now if they would just stop serving trumpnocksuckers like John Able, we could eat in peace.

Was reminded of y I don't go anymore. Bland, plain pizza, no flavor. I ordered a pan pizza. Very dirty, bathrooms were horrid! Greasy fingerprints everywhere.. all over the booths, in the wood, on windows. Needs a deep cleaning. Looks like they never clean the restaurant! They say look @ the cleanliness of br b4 u eat @ a place. Seems to have lost their touch. Pizza isn't that hard. Won't return.

Service at the bar is an afterthought, never,…. Never checked on us. Had to ask for help. Food was plain. Nothing great. Pepsi was flat and we were forced to give a 20% tip. Highly don’t recommend. This is our second time back with the exact same experience. Never coming back…

The waitress was on the job for two days but forgot to order our entree then brought our food, we asked her about it and she said that she forgot to order it. Dishes piled up on our table , as we finished our soup/salad.some food was cold.
