Pho 89 Vietnamese Cuisine

Ive been wanting to try them for a while and tonight’s the night! It was so good! We got the pork verminchili and it was sooo delicious! Im glad theres a great restaurant so close! Definitely will be back!

BEST FOOD IN YV! Went here for dinner for the very first time tonight! I wish I could have PHO from here every single night. It was that delicious. I had with tofu and vegetables. It was perfect. The price was amazing and Leo the chef/owner/waiter is the sweetest and most perfect person. He gets all of the ingredients fresh and makes all of the food himself. If you have not gone here and enjoy Vietnamese food put this on your must have! 10 stars!

Quality and freshness of the food is great. Atmosphere is also clean and welcoming. Staff is very nice and friendly. Egg rolls, pho, pork belly buns and more. All delicious. Definitely returning soon!

We had our late night snack for our wedding from here. We ordered the steamed buns, several banh mi options and egg rolls. Everything was amazing. Everything was fresh. And quality was not forgotten with an order of our size. Thank you Pho 89 so so much.

Good rolls, order was wrong but they let us have it anyways. The pho special was ok and had a lot of meat which is always a plus but did not have tripes or tendons which is normal for some pho specials. The broth however was missing a bit of flavor, my wife got the ban mi skillet which was very good, the ban mi special was ok, overall would recommend a try. Next time we will try the bun bo.

Moved from Oklahoma, where my husband and I would always get pho from a local place near our home that’s raved about over there; and then we came here and it’s so MUCH better!

That atmosphere is clean, chill, and the food is absolutely delicious!!! We are so happy to have found this gem not that far from our new home in Yorkville ♥️🌺 10/10 will eat here again 🤤

I've ordered from this place quite frequently on doordash but never gone in before. My mother had never tried Vietnamese and so I decided to take her. All together we ordered 2 appetizers, 2 drinks (not including refills), and 4 seperate meals just between the 2 of us. We also got some popcorn chicken to go for my siblings back home. All together we finished everything other than the half bowl of Pho left over which we took home. The food was exquisite within all regards and the service was better than could be expected. I wish I had pictures to share but I never thought to stop eating to do so. It was simply too good. When all was said and done the chef came out personally and discussed our meal with us. He was more than kind and deserves adequate praise for his work. We even discussed how I had ordered from here before on doordash and he asked for my name. We also discussed how the food differs when it's delivered compared to eaten in store. Which I should make clear, it is much better in person. All together our bill came out around $120 not including the 20% tip we gave. It was worth. Every. Single. Penny. The bill may seem expensive, but we also ordered enough for 4-6 people easily, so it should be taken with some grace. Without a doubt, we will be returning. And my mother advises anyone who is on the fence about trying Vietnamese like she was to make this your first experience.
