I was looking for a Mexican place I haven't tried and ventured into Que Brava. This family-owned and family-friendly restaurant was just what I needed to celebrate my birthday! From a cute and welcoming dining room to plenty of menu items, Que Brava will be a repeat dining experience. I enjoyed the cheese enchiladas with green chile sauce - perfect mix of heat with the softening of flavors in the enchilada. My kid tends to not enjoy Mexican that is not Taco Bell; she enjoyed every bite of her ground beef soft taco and the chips/salsa. I opted for a horchata and it also did not disappoint. The server and chef came out to sing me happy birthday along with a slice of delicious cheesecake. When in Yorkville, be sure to stop by!

Top 3 tortas I’ve ever had and top 3 salsas I ever head, the steak torta was actual steak not the cheap meats other places use.

Favorite restaurant! My husband and I love that they are close. David and his family are wonderful ❤️ we truly care about each one of them. Food is always perfect. Chips and salsa are great. The family is always careful to create wonderful tasting food at a reasonable price. Ask what the special is! Sometimes they will do a special meal. Don't miss this restaurant. You will walk out thinking of the next time you are returning!

This is my favorite Hispanic food in the area! Their service is great, their food is delicious. I highly recommend the Ceviche - it's a very affordable price and it's delicious. The burritos are also good, and their Horchata is perfect. Not too sweet, nice and cinnamon-ey. They bring out very nice chips and salsa when you sit down - the salsa is not watery and has a nice complex flavor. The chips aren't too thick and have a great crunch.
I feel like a good Mexican resturant can be gauged by the quality of the rice and beans. The day we went they had made pablano rice which was fluffy, tasty, and had a nice flavor which complimented the refried beans perfectly.
Also, their plating is really nice! You can tell they take pride in the dishes they send out.
All in all I highly recommend Que Brava. Worth a trip out to Montgomery just to eat here. Affordable, too!

This is place is a diamond. Excellent and attentive staff but the stand out star is the food. Skirt steak taco, al pastor taco (pictured), and my absolute favorite, chorizo taco. Good chorizo is hard to find, so come here and partake of the good stuff. Then come back again and again.

Hands down, the best mexican food around. Not your average mexican restaurant. The service was excellent! The quality of their food and clean presentation is unmatched by similar establishments. My wife and I both enjoyed THE MOST TENDER steak tacos for lunch and will definitely be back for more delicious food in the future. Even the corn tortillas were noticably softer and fresher than everyone elses! This is our new spot for mexican food. Take a bite and you'll immediately know what I'm talking about. You can feel, taste and see the better quality of food that you get here. We had a great experience and I recommend everyone go have their own great experience at Que Brava as well!

I'm from California, so Mexican food is a standard. They had great chips and salsa, along with the main entree. I had flautas, crunchy and delightful. I really enjoy how they have in house tortillas. I added salsa to my rice but that's because I really enjoyed their warm salsa.

I don’t recommend you to eat anything from there bad food and it’s expensive

It’s not worth it. I ordered nachos. There is barely anything on the nachos and it was very soggy and he charged me $20 for a nachos that has nothing but beans very very light steak on it and guacamole. I do not recommend this place is too pricey for the food they provide. And it doesn’t taste good. Also, the prices on the menu on the website is different than what he charge inside for example I also got one order of tacos which on the website said it’s just six dollars but he charged me $20 for just three tacos .
