My husband and I have a tradition of eating out on Sunday and often go to Yorkville Cafe. Their food is VERY good ( flavorful, well presented) and served in a timely manner.) Today’s meal was different…. It SO exceeded my expectations! The 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy served with 2 scrambled eggs on top was absolutely delicious! It was served on a hot plate, with hot fresh biscuits covered with a mouth watering gravy that had the perfect ratio of sausage, and spices. I’m not usually one that writes reviews but this meal was that GOOD!!! When one adds in the kind and attentive owners, the friendly staff, the chef who adds a special touch to enhance what would usually be a typical meal, and the cleanliness (even the bathrooms!), dining at Yolkville cafe is highly recommended!

Gluten free pancakes always hit the spot here but anytime I’ve ventured off that item I’ve been met with just normal diner food. Still good and I specifically come here for the pancakes- worth it.
