This place is really good! We drive from the far east side of Aurora just to eat here. The service staff us always friendly and attentive. Food is really good. If you love French Toast get the cinnamon F.T. its fantastic!

Been going to Sunfield since well before they moved, were a local family favorite for many years. Recent visits have shown food quality drop dramatically. Hoping for improvement, we'll try again soon.

Sun Fields Family Restaurant in Yorkville is one of those places that just feels good to walk into. It has such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere — the kind of spot where you can actually relax, sip your coffee, and not feel rushed. It really gives that classic hometown diner vibe where everyone feels like a regular.

The food definitely lives up to the comfort factor. The biscuits and gravy are seriously delicious — warm, fluffy biscuits smothered in rich, flavorful gravy that tastes homemade. Total comfort food done right. Their skillets are just as good, too. Everything comes out hot, loaded with ingredients, and cooked perfectly. You can tell they don’t skimp on portions, and the flavors are always on point.

If you’re looking for a comfortable place with hearty, satisfying breakfast, Sun Fields is a great choice. Cozy atmosphere, friendly feel, and food that hits the spot every time.

Clean place and good breakfast. Prices have increased just like everything else. Portions have gotten smaller. I can tell especially with the Skillets. Glass of orange juice is 5.70 for a glass. I couldn't went to Jewel and bought a whole gallon for $9. Most likely will not be heading back to this local eatery

The food was decent, but I expected a bit more considering the reviews. The flavors were fine, but nothing impressive. The staff were polite, though not very attentive. With some improvements, this place could offer a much better dining experience.

The fresh squeezed orange juice was good. I ordered extra crispy bacon which it was but it seemed like poor quality meat because it was very tough. Nothing special going on at this place, I would not go back or recommend.

I came to this restaurant on November 5th 2025. I entered the building at 7:40 p.m. and asked to place a to-go order. I was told that they were closed. All of their signage states that they close at 8:00 p.m. horrible business practice to turn people away early.

Stopped by on a weekday around 4–5 PM, parking was wide open 🚗. Inside felt spacious but tables are a bit too close for me 😅. Ordered a marbled steak 🥩—thought it was beef (hopefully 😂). Taste was honestly 2–3/5; I’ve had much better. The orange juice 🍊 was a win, tasted fresh, though the glass was small 🥤. Service was great 🙌—clean tables, tidy place, and the waitress worked like a pro 👏. Steak was $25 💵—pretty standard. Overall good vibes, but the steak flavor didn’t impress 🤷‍♂️.
