Tacos are great! Rice and beans are a little plain but still good. They have a separate register for Mexican street snacks like mangonadas and elotes. My mango wasn’t ripe but the elote was good.Vegetarian options: Using beans as a substitute is an option. I don’t think it would be a great option though.
Food is good and at a great price. Don't be intimidated by the atmosphere most taquerias in Chicago look this way! You can dine in or take out. If you sit down someone will come with a menu. It is also one of the few places that does corn on the cob not that canned stuff that the other places serve..... La michocana *cough* *cough*

I originally found this place through work friends who raved about it. After a few tries, became a fan. Hadnt been in a while... came back to the best gott dang steak torta and taco i ever had! The best! Al pastor is awesome too
