1925 PubHouse Grandview

Had a great meal with friends at the 1925 Pubhouse at Grandview Golf Course. Really enjoyed the “Kevin’s 67 Burger”.

Pork tenderloin is amazing. But the atmosphere feels kinda like a bingo hall. But the food is fantastic and house made chips are addicting.

We came here for dinner tonight. It was my birthday. I was honestly really impressed. The food was the street corn queso, the smash burger, and peanut butter cheesecake. It was absolutely delicious. The server did a great job and would definitely old back.

The chips I got came all crumbly and there were only like 8 of them for my nachos, and you have to make your own nachos instead of them being already made!

We want to support local, but when we don’t get great service it is difficult to want to patronize. We arrived at 7:10, , sat in the bar, 6 of us, 4 adults, one 12 old and one 9 year old. We placed our drink order, then approximately 7:40 we finally got to order dinner, at 8:15 I asked the server if he could check on our dinner, came back and said it would be out shortly. 8:25 said they were short 6 wings so I suggested he short 3 and 3 since 3 people ordered wings, we received our dinner at 8:25, fries for two meals were barely warm so we asked for fresh fries, also wings for all were also barely warm, minutes later fries were delivered. We received our bill and they were going to charge us for the full order of wings which we did not get, asked server and they adjusted the bill. We finally left at 8:45. Also they were not very busy, most were ready to pay and leave when we arrived. Our kids needed to be home by 8:30. Just extremely disappointed..

The Chicken Florentino was delicious. We had a large group in the bar, and the food and service was perfect. Thanks,1925 Pubhouse.

Had the Firecracker Shrimp as an app and the smash burger as an entree. Both were AMAZING. The atmosphere was awesome. Service was super quick and the waitress was very nice and attentive. Would recommend to my friends. Can't wait to eat there again.

Please clean off all of the dead bugs from under the blinds on all the windowsills in the bar dining area! Not very appetizing to look at while you are waiting on food to arrive. Went with a party of three to have lunch on 9/25/24. We ordered a shrimp entree which arrived fairly quickly. It didn't take us long to finish that off. Flavor was decent.
We then waited and waited and patiently waited for our main lunch to arrive. We all kept wondering what was taking so long. After waiting 55 minutes for our lunch to arrive one of the patrons in our party actually went tracked down our waitress to find out what was taking so long for our food to arrive. It was nothing complex. Two fish taco lunches and one chicken wrap. She finally brought our food out to our table after our more than a 55 minute wait and explained to us that a party of 30 came in and that delayed everything. Okay, so why is that our fault? They should have requested reservations for a group of that size, or if the kitchen staff wasn't equipped to handle the extra guests than there should be enough help on staff in kitchen for that kind of fluctuation to still be able to handle the other guests to avoid such long delays in service. No apologies from the waitress. Nothing taken off of our almost $80 bill after tip. Ice waters went unfilled when empty. Just an all around poor experience from a restaurant that we expected more from.
