“This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. It is a very small building that does not have seating availible other than benches to wait for your food. Dine in is not an option. That being said, don't let that stop you from coming in. I gave it a shot and was very pleased. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They will make your sandwich however you want. There are dozens of options for breads, meats, cheeses, condiments and vegetables. I highly recommend the bacon cheddar cheese. Other than sandwiches, they also serve salads and wraps. Subway has nothing on the Trainstop Deli! Everything was delicious. I would recommend ordering ahead if you are in a hurry but the wait is worth it if you don't. Give this place a try today! You wont regret it!”

There is free Wi-Fi, a (more than) generous amount of plug ins, a lot of comfortable seating, games, books (& children’s books), and clean restrooms. Also gotta point out that I love their area for small businesses to hang up cards/ flyers! 🫶 Food & Drink: Amazing ! Can’t remember what I ordered the last 2 times but that’s because each time I just talk to the people up front and tell them what I like, and they make something great for me! 🙂 Staff: As I mentioned above, they’re great! I also met the owner the last time I was here & he was so, so kind! Please come support this small business if you haven’t yet, and then.. Don’t stop (you won’t want to!) ;-)”

“Wow. This place is amazing !! Their pizza, sandwiches , salads and apps are so yummy. I have never had anything to eat here that wasn't good. However, today they did something to make me a life long customer. I ordered a pizza to take home, On the way home I got an emergency call I had to go help with immediately. Sadly the pizza got left in my very hot car for 2 hours. I called Arts and asked a manager if they thought it was still safe to eat. They just were not sure, so they said bring it back and we will make you a new one, no charge. What!! This was not their fault. I left it in the car, I didn't ask for anything yet they stepped up to offer me a replacment . I live 45 min. away so I didn't go back, but their kindness was unbelieveable.. I am an Arts girl from now on !!”

“We celebrated our anniversary @ Lahody's tonight. It was a rainy Monday evening and pretty slow, but the hostess and our server, Kyle, were super nice! The food was really good too. My husband loved the clam chowder. I got the cattleman's burger and told Kyle that I was a fan of pickles and he understood the assignment! We will definitely come back and recommend to anyone we know who is looking for a nice place for dinner.”

“Visited on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the Black & Bleu Steakhouse salad but then was told they were out of the steak so I ordered the Brisket Tacos. Let me say the service was great. But whoever thought up the addition of Brisket Tacos on their menu must have been asleep or drunk. It was so unappealing I knew I was in trouble when she sat it down. Cold JERKY-like chunks of meat on a bed of raw sliced cabbage on a cold tortilla with a garnish of green onions & a squeeze of BBQ sauce is not appetizing at all. I don’t think I need to explain any further. Now imo, a nice serving of real brisket on a bed of coleslaw on a warm tortilla, that would be tasty!!”

The sausage reminded him of his grandmothers, so lots of warm fuzzy feels for him. I am sensitive to wheat and MSG, so bacon and eggs only for me, with potatoes. I could not finish my potatoes, i was so full. (Hardees has msg in sausage, not sure about the gravy). My disappointment was the dining room floor is sticky, no country-fried steak, and they have no decaf. We like to have breakfast dates without breaking the bank, and this was around $15. Hardees, 1 cup of decaf pays for the pot, so keep some around in case. I will ask for well-done bacon next time, but i was curious how it would come without asking; which it was not rubbery, so i ate my eggs and bacon rolled up like a crepe. It was good. We will be back, (but with a mcds cup of decaf).”

“The incompetence of this place is unbelievable! slow service, unsealed delivery orders that are missing products even when it's sealed they are missing products. then they try to blame the drivers for their own incompetence. this is the worst run McDonald's in Anderson Indiana. I'm a delivery driver and almost 100% of the time, the customer messages me after delivery and the order is either wrong or missing product. Then they have the nerve to try to push that incompetence onto the drivers! The employees from what I've seen they do not care, they just want to get the hell out of there. I'm sure there's a few beautiful ways there but they are far outnumbered by the bad ones. I would avoid this McDonald's at all cost. if you're using doordash or GrubHub and it gives you the option to order from a different McDonald's, the one on 14th Street and Jackson Street is good. This one is ridiculous, choose another Anderson location if possible. I want to add it's painfully obvious that nothing is going to change because I scroll down and seen other reviews and I don't think I've come across a good review yet they are all bad. Go figure.”

He noticed my Grandma getting out of the car and immediately stepped in and helped her every step of the way. He called in and had a table ready for us. He came by numerous times to check on her. Absolutely outstanding service”

Food came quickly even though they were busy on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend the feta and spinach omelette, it was incredible and huge. Plus came with bacon, hash browns and pancakes (which were also amazing). We decided it will be our go to spot for breakfast every time they visit.”

I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!”

I so appreciated getting the tres leches cake made for my daughter's birthday there, many people fell in love with that deliciously fresh sweet (but not too sweet) cake! We were in the area for a concert, and we tried Nerdy BBQ, which is without a doubt the best I've ever had. Friendly employees and atmosphere. WE WILL BE BACK. I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! “Placed a online order last night at 635pm, selected to pick up my order at 725, arrived 5 min early to only leave at 758pm. several people got their order before me and my order wasn't very big at all. Food was good but taking 1 hour and 20min before I got my order is piss poor.”

“I picked up several items at the Gluten Free Indy Spring Market today, They are all amazing! The lemon blueberry cupcake may be the best cupcake I’ve ever had. I will be watching for them to be available. After trying the apple fritter bites, I panicked for a minute that I ate something that wasn’t gluten free. Knowing darn good and well it was gf. They are that good. It’s been so long since I’ve had anything like that. I also tired the peanut butter dream bar and lemon drop cookies. Both of those were also amazing! I really don’t think you could go wrong trying any of the products from Reynolds Roost Bakery.”

“My family often comes to the Anderson Chicken for meals. My children love the clean and safe play area while we wait on our food. The drive thru is very quick, easy, and friendly. This facility is always clean and I feel safe having my children use their restrooms. The food is always hot, and I often try different things to mix up my food choices. My current favorite is the Turkey Wrap, but you can never go wrong with some grilled nuggies, in the Mac n cheese with some buffalo sauce on top!”

“We long awaited McAlister’s coming to Anderson, and I’m excited they are here. After a few opening glitches, all taken care of by competent management, they’re now the quality I’ve come to expect from other locations. Consistent menu with so many options, especially the pick two 1/2s where you can make an almost limitless variety of options. A bit pricier than than other fast food but worth it for homemade taste and generous portions. My only complaint about this store’s layout is there are only two single-person bathrooms, so there is usually an awkward wait. Maybe they expected Anderson to be mostly carry out business?”

“Did a lunch run today at the open of their restaurant...try not to do that btw, but they helped wonderfully! All of my orders were completed and they helped take my bags to the car. Excellent service and even with all my orders they made sure I was all good to go; fast service! Which is hard to find nowadays. Will definitely be going back again!! :)”
