“I ordered my wedding cake here and absolutely loved the finished product. When we first did our tastings, Mona was a pleasure meeting and really helped us decide what we wanted. Communication throughout and before wedding was amazing and she even offered to decorate my cake day of and it turned out so beautiful and was sooo delicious. “Good food. Got the breaded tenderlion with tots. The chicken fingers looked good and I hear they have a good burger too. I would recommend ordering it. The only thing I didn't like was that it's a smoking establishment. It wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon, so it wasn't bad.”

The burrito bowl was great, I subbed Jalapeños for kale and totally enjoyed that decision, especially because we were eating in the heat of outside! Highly recommend stopping by here if you're looking for some healthy or non healthy vegan options! Great service and a good ambiance.”

“The menu is limited but if you can find at least couple things that interest you. The food is superb, you pay a price for it, but its well worth it. The main course comes with either tomato soup or salad with blue cheese, both of which are superb. The wait staff here is spot on and take great care of you. And dont miss the sugar cream cake, our group tried both the regular and chocolate and all loved it. A true Hoosier gem.”

During this period, I have heard a lot of positive feedback from Trainstop deli satisfied customers. I concur with their positive feedback and thoughts regarding the deliciousness of their subs. They provided very cordial and friendly customer service, the food was prepared promptly, and the meal was delightful. Two thumbs up.Kid-friendliness: It's a clean and quiet little deli. “I haven't lived in Elwood for very long. My mother wanted breakfast, but she didn't want to dine in. I didn't want fast food so I googled local restaurants. Friendly's was first on the list.I called and they could quickly prepare breakfast to go. My mother ordered pancakes with added sausage patties. I ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy.As I initially entered the restaurant, I saw several signs stating they only accepted cash, debit and credit weren't welcome. Hopped back in the van to find an ATM. Returned for our food.The lady behind the counter was talkative and friendly. They were about 1/2 full and everyone seemed to be happy and sociable. Great atmosphere.My mother enjoyed her breakfast and was filled before she could finish. I was quite disappointed with my biscuits and gravy. The gravy looked great and was a good consistency. However, it had far too much pepper. The biscuits were rather small. They tasted good but were a bit dry. I tried a few more bites of mostly biscuit with as little gravy as I could get. Still far too peppery. Inedible. Definitely not happy.Parking: The parking lot is rather small. Some spaces are placed in a way that cars have to be extremely careful not to back into other cars.”

“Have been working around the Alexandria area for a while and was having a hard time finding a decent place to stop and grab lunch. Heard about this place and decided to stop by and give this a try. Really neat place clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and made well and you can't tell if wasn't heated up from frozen. Great place strongly recommend stopping by for some coffee, pie or a wrap. Will definitely be coming by more frequently.”

“We spent the day at Harrahs watching basketball. The reviews looked good so we gave it a try. It was delicious! We got a large buffalo chicken pizza and a large pepperoni and mushroom. I can't decide which I liked better both were really good. The buffalo had a nice kick to it and the other had a great tasting sauce and the cheese was so good. They also use fresh sliced mushrooms which put it over the top.”

“If you haven't been to Hoosier Routes, you absolutely need to go. The food delicious, Severs are very attentive. The restaurant is very clean. You are greeted immediately. Your food comes out hot and so delicious! GO TO HOOSIER ROUTES”

“Stopped here for lunch after visiting Mounds State Park. We chose this restaurant because they offered gluten free pizza and garlic bread. This was the best GF garlic bread I’ve had in a long time! The texture was perfect. GF bread is usually hit and miss. Great to eat a GF item that didn’t feel like a huge step down from the regular. we also split a GF supreme pizza. The GF crust tasted like your standard GF crust, but the pizza toppings more than made up for that. All in all a great tasting lunch. Appreciate having such good quality GF options!”
