The Toast is/was a small dinner located in the downtown area of Anderson. I say was because it is currently closed for renovations. A couple of guys bough the diner about a year ago and renovations started not long after. It is taking some time but the wait will be worth it. This is an all American style diner that’s been around for decades. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly. This is a reason this place has been around for ever.

Diner-style experience. The food was hot when we got it. Biscuits and gravy were good, and French toast was good. Bacon was a little floppy. Super busy when we were there. Didn't care for the mushy English muffin though, it should've been grilled or toasted. I will still go back for another visit.
