The restaurant was quite busy so apparently the locals really like this place. I noticed the buffet was kept replenished and there were a number of selections for the price. But my dining companion and I got upset stomaches while eating our meals. The food was too greasy for us.

This is the first time I've been at this establishment and I was appalled by the taste of the food. I had regular Chinese buffet food and it never tasted like what I tasted. It was very greasy. The seafood imitation crab me did not taste like crab meat imitation. It had a sugary weird taste to it and it just left a bad taste of my mouth. I don't know if it was spoiled. Everything goes was just over battered and soggy and I just couldn't comprehend by eating it I've been a lot better up to par buffet places in my life and this place was just a zero out. It's in. I'm hands down ? and it was funny because you have to pay before you sit down. So when I told the manager about the situation she did not want to refund my money because she said I already paid before I ate. Still I don't understand that concept because if you pay for us or you pay after the meal still you should be compensated or they should fix something for your troubles. She said it's me. That's why I don't like the food. Everyone else likes it. I said well not me. Have a good day

The food here is the BEST! My family always wants to come here when visiting out of state, it's the best they can find they say!! Only downside is that seating is limited. But I truly believe that's ones reason why this place is so fresh, good, and clean!

Such a great restaurant, if you live in Anderson or the surrounding area you have to come out and try this place out! Way better food than any other Chinese restaurant in the area. You won’t regret coming out, and I promise you will be back! I know I will!!

The food was better than fast food.. I wish they had a better selection of food. Very small buffet. Some food was hard. But overall it was edible.
Solid 5 stars because this is a small building, and it still offers so much! 3 of us for lunch on a Saturday with 3 drinks came to 35.00. Reasonable and the food delicious! Fresh, clean, ambience is restful. I am wheat, peanut, msg intolerant and after 15 years of eating here i have never had a reaction. No msg here, unlike so many american places that i will never eat at again. I recommend the mei fun (stir-fried rice noodle), crab rangoon, hot and sour soup, general tso, mushroom shrimp, chicken broccoli. Yes, there are small cakes and macaroons as well, but i did not eat those, Im too full!

I can't order a side of broccoli ?, I can order a meal that has broccoli in it, but can not PAY for a side of broccoli bc they don't "sell" broccoli like that. This post seems ridiculous to even write but since when do you sell an item and not sell that item at the same time. This is completely asinine to me. I can order a general tso and broccoli but am refused a side order of extra broccoli to put into my food. Lol, so they would rather lose 2 to 4 times a week of ordering from us than to sell us a side of broccoli ?. This is so stupid to even review but this has to be the complete opposite of how a business is run. Must be a riddle, welcome to bamboo house where we sell broccoli and don't sell broccoli at the same time. Makes perfect sense to lose 30 to 40 dollars an order a few times a week over a 3 dollar side of broccoli you clearly have but wont sell. Lantern house let's me order all the broccoli they have in stock with whatever meal I order. Guess we're ordering lantern house today ?

Food is always great. It’s not a huge buffet but what they have is really good and they keep it stocked. Never gotten anything that tasted old or was cold. Been quite a few time will continue to go.

While the selection is limited, I will drive an hour out of my way just to eat here. They actually care that all of the food they serve tastes amazing. I can not recommend eating here enough. I've never had a bad experience here, and my entire family loves it too.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.
