Everything about our experience was great!Philip was an amazing and very informative regarding drinks and the food options.Courtney gave us a bit of the building's history and made outstanding drinks.I'd recommend Bonge's to everyone!We can't wait to get back.I wish we lived close enough to go more frequently.Thank you again to the entire staff!

What a wonderful dinner. Attentive service provided by our waiter Chris. We started with the shrimp cocktail and pierogi. There were three pierogi with caramelized onions, shaved prime rib and a horseradish cream sauce. Both apps were amazing. As usual the Red Gold Tomato soup and wedge salad were tasty. For the main course I had the lamb chops with couscous salad. The absolute best lamb I've had. My coworker had the Norwegian Sea trout which he loved. Highly recommend Bonge's Tavern.

Always a treat to go to Bonge's for a wonderful dinner. The food is outstanding and our service last night from Mike was more than outstanding. The restaurant is certainly a surprise to those new to our area. Although it is a 30 minute drive, it was a lovely fall evening. They have kept the original building... An old roadside Tavern next to a river. Reservations are required and for a weekend... When they have prime rib... It takes several months in advance to secure a reservation .

The food is always great. However, my biggest gripe with a lot of restaurants the servers fail to spread the courses out. Ordered our main meals with salads first. Got our salads and within 3-4 minutes they brought out our main courses. Server let them set a few minutes before having too put all the entrees on with our half eaten salads. Many times I have to ask servers to wait on placing our main orders which should be common sense. They are working for tips but almost want to turn tables at the expense of the diners. Normally no problem at Bonges but this was the second time in about six visits.
