We had a great lunch at Frisch's Big Boy! The place has a charm to it of days gone by, and the food was great. The salad bar, while slightly limited in its selection, was good. I really appreciated them having hand sanitizer available there, too.The Super Big Boy burger (think a Big Mac, but better quality) was excellent. Our server was very busy with a lot of tables, but still was very friendly and took good care of us. Highly recommended if you're in the area and you want a taste of classic Americana.Parking: There's a surface lot with plenty of free parking for customers.

We decided to eat here today for lunch and it was completely disappointing. If you have childhood memories of this restaurant from the 70's just keep those and don't ruin it by dining here now. Service was terrible. The only way to get anything was to hold your hand in the air and flag someone down. They advertised fresh never frozen burgers, not true. Buns were stale. Onion rings advertised as hand breaded, again not true. Mozzarella sticks were greasy and not very good. Crinkle cut fries would have been good if they had cooked them all the way until they were done.
I had not been to a Big Boy in decades. So it was a pleasant surprise to find one on my way to a distant appointment. One of the hardest items to find well-prepared is onion rings. Those made here are excellent. They were actually onions, not reconstituted. YUM! I had the Buddy Boy, the ham sandwich. Again,prepared with care. The traffic pattern (enter and exit) was the hard part,which is beyond the restaurant's control. The food is worth the effort of getting to this Big Boy.
