Love the food there, always satisfied! They always do a great job taking care of us, friendly staff.
The hostess who seated us always seems like she's so overworked and overwhelmed when we are there but there were hardly any people. We had made a reservation ahead of time and she acted like it was a huge chore to get our table ready - they should've been expecting us. And she huffs and puffs going up and down those stairs. Once we were seated, it took quite a while for our waitress to acknowledge us and get drinks - by that time, we already knew what we wanted so we ordered our meal as well. Prices are VERY high, although steak was good, I don't think it was $60 each good for a strip. Waitress was attentive after she put our order in.
The service from seating, waitress, and bartender were fabulous! Our filets were cooked perfectly and wonderful melt in your mouth texture. A great atmosphere and a wonderful evening out with friends!
Our dinner was delicious, we started with an Calimari appetizer that was tasty, it was spicy with a touch of sweetness, then we enjoyed our favorite wedge salad topped with real blue cheese crumbles, freshly cooked bacon bits & homemade bleucheese dressing... then for our entree we each had their filet mignon, cooked perfectly with a 1/2 of baked potato. Our server, Lindsay was excellent-she answered our questions and followed up to make sure that our requests were followed by their Chef/kitchen. Highly recommend!
Waiter, food runner, and host were all very kind! Prime rib wasn't anything special, especially for the price.
Chef Joe's pork belly is by far the best we have ever had! We were blown away by the blast of flavors from the Brussels sprout slaw to the pork belly itself! The crab legs were great and the filet was tender and perfectly cooked. An overall wonderful dinner!!!
Food was excellent BUT is never piping hot. Needs to be hotter when served. Our waitress Toni was great!
Highly disappointed with the prime rib! For a meat that is only offered on weekends and for the price we expected a much better product. The steak was bland and not really tender.
I m happy that a few changes were made to the menu but I think there should be more. Paying $60 for a steak without sides is unaffordable for many people. I also think there should be some healthier options. More vegetables, fruit and different appetizers. Maybe some crusty breads instead of white dinner rolls. This is my opinion. Watching the races while having dinner is a bonus.
Everything was mostly fine. They seemed a little under staffed at the time but we weren't in a big hurry. The food seemed a little over price compared to the quality but it was all acceptable. The staff was pleasant and nice. I think for the price I was expecting a little better quality than what we got. If I went back it would be to watch the horses while we ate, I didn't realize you could do that from the restaurant. They weren't running this time of year though. I'd probably order something cheaper than steaks if I went for that experience though.

Pretty pricey, but shouldn't be surprised when you're at a casino. Everything is al a cart. Website and app so not explain that.
Thought we would try something different. Out of the four of us two were ok at best. My wife had to send her fillet back twice. She the first one was literally raw and cold in the middle. She sent it back. They way over cooked it, it was like a well done piece of leather. Sent that back. The third one was worse than the first one. Finally boxed it up to bring home to finish cooking it and feed to the dogs. Very expensive dog food. The manager did NOT take it off our bill only offered a desert. Our two friends both ordered the prime rib. One ordered it med rare the other ordered it medium. Both came med rare. She sent it back. Came back cooked well done. Terrible way to eat prime rib. Will NEVER BE BACK.

First off - The service was excellent!
The Shrimp Cocktail was good.
The Lobster bisque didn't taste very good, and had Langostino's in place of real lobster meat (FYI: You can't do this per FDA!)
The Filet was a real disappointment as it was one of the worst quality cuts of meat that I've had in ages. It was tough and disappointing. So much for looking forward to a good steak.
The seating is uncomfortable and too low quality for the prices charged as a steak house.
It was interesting to watch the races, but I don't see myself ever coming back here...

My family and I had dinner here last night. As soon as I opened the menu and saw the prices I should have walked out. I am not opposed to paying $60 or $70 for an ale cart steak in the right setting, however when you walk into the establishment you are met with the smell of stale cigarettes smoke even though I think it is non smoking. The restaurant does have a very nice view of the horse track and races were going on that evening which were interesting to watch.
We ordered shrimp cocktail and the shrimp had a very "off" taste, hard to describe but not pleasant.
My husband ordered the Wagyu burger and when he bit into it a gray "liquid" came out, it was a very strange consistency and again tasted "off". "this is the worst burger I have even had!" is how he explained it.
I had the "taste Indy" prefixed menu of salad, steak, asparagus, and baked potatoes for $65 and my sister also did the prefix of salad, steak asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Both of our steaks were "fine" but her potatoes were awful and my baked potato was dried out. Both of our asparagus were HUGE, unseasoned and under cooked. My daughter had the chicken dish with the polenta base and she said it was good.
The service was SLOW, I think we were there over 2 1/2 hours, the waitress just took forever to get our orders and then to get the food out. We paid over $200 for this meal and we all agreed that is a place we will never eat at again. I am not sure how this place has so many great reviews, definitely not what we experienced.

All the staff there are professional, but kind and overall just nice. The weight staff is very professional and very caring. I love their steaks, their sides, their salads or desserts. What's not to love?
