Homestretch Steak House

Service was exceptional. Porkbelly, calamari, tuna and shrimp cocktail apps were outstanding. Lobster Bisque and French Onion soups were delicious. My bone in ribeye was a bit tough and overcooked to medium, not med rare as requested, two other steaks were rare and not medium rare as requested, chicken with mashed potatoes was very good. Sides were good, especially the kale and cabbage which was excellent. Desserts were all very good and huge!

Our food was great! The appetizer and entrees and drinks were excellent!! The server Jill was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back again!!

Service was good. Nothing over the top great, but server was friendly. Food, however, was poor. By far the worst steak from a "steakhouse" that I've had. Mashed potatoes and mac n cheese were both poor as well. Very bland filet, one being way over peppered. Cost $200 for the meal, I wouldn't eat there again for free honestly.

I have been here many of times and it was always great ( Jill is amazing), but this time we got there 30 mins after opening and Service was horrible. Waited 5 mins to be acknowledged and then another 10-15mins to put order in and then have waitress (Toni) to never come back and check on us nor get drink refills only seen her when it was time to pay. Very disappointed and probably wont be back. Spend $175 on 2 plates to get sub par service, No Thank you.

We were so disappointed in our experience. We waited for almost 10 minutes before our server greeted our table. Our fillets were overcooked and not even warm. Still the butter was just sitting in form on top of it without melting. That's how cold they were. We ordered medium rare and couldn't even cut through them. They were so tough. He never really got checked on. Just very disappointing for 4 people to spend that amount for such a poor experience and food quality.

Made reservations. Very unorganized, still had to wait 10-15 minutes to be sat at a table clearly not cleaned and ready for us. Food was just ok. Overpriced for the quality, fries were not hot and fresh. Our first time dining here. For a $$$$ restaurant I expected more.

Great Food! Prime Rib was cooked perfectly. Hot food and bread. Generous portions & enough for leftovers that I ate the next day. Our waitress was also the bartender resulting in slower than normal service. I and friends ate at Home Stretch a month ago & service was much faster. Overall, great meal and above average service.

Our food was not great for the amount of money we spent. The appetizers were small and over cooked and our sides were overcooked. Our steaks were delicious and our service was great.

15 minutes to get a server ordered and 15 minutes later got drinks another 15 -20 to get bread and salad 30 more minutes to get food no drink refills had to get up and go ask for check NEVER Again

We were seated w/o service for 15 mins. The food was tasteful but not outstanding. The waiter was slow & deliberate, did not check on us but checked on other tables numerous times, After dinner dessert was not offered as in the past. The experience lasted 2 hours - too long for the anticipated dining experience. Maybe we were expecting a better experience given the exorbitant price of the meal. Not a restaurant that we will frequent too many times.

The fish was very dry and the tarter sauce I ordered to help get it down wasn't very tasty at all. The hamburger had no flavor but was cooked to my liking. The prime rib was ok, nothing special. The bread is now just some plain warm buns. The restaurant is not what it used to be. The manager did make some compensation to our bill. I probably would not return there, only if I have comps to cover the cost.

Note the steakhouse portion of the restaurant is not open on all days. If you go on a day it's not open, you're going to have very average to below average food. Good wine prices though.

We had a perfect dinner with friends while watching the races. Our server, Lindsey was perfect, timely, and very personable. Our meals were delicious.

It a very good restaurant if your not on a budget because Hoosier Park Racing and Casino does not have another restaurant! That needs to change if they want to do better!

Great setting to watch live horse racing while dining and enjoying time with family and friends.
